- This video takes a closer look at all of the unlockable characters in The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame. There are 101 unlockable characters and 1 secret character that isn't yet available.
This channel features transformative & instructional video game guides, walkthroughs, speedruns & many other unique creations. My own personal gameplay, creative input & editing is clearly added into each video and thus all videos adhere to UA-cam's partner program guidelines. All gameplay is my own & is recorded and edited solely by me. Permission to upload each game was provided by the game publisher.
Is it just me, or did anyone else get mad when classic Zane was using the bow instead of his throwing stars

They made so many LEGO games for everything else but didn’t want to make one for ninjago until the movie came out cause they knew they could get more money if they released the game right after the movie released. The OG ninjago deserves a game😔
I'm a bit "upset" with TT on this one. this roster , to me, is a joke. half of the characters are filler when they could have added so many characters and different skins for the Ninja all from the show. they should make a game based if the show next time instead of the movie

I prefer the original character designs than the new ones. I prefer the golden weapons too.

I’ve always had this crazy idea of a Ninjago Console Game
It would take place in the first two movies and seasons 1-8, and have all costumes for the Ninjas and characters
And I free roaming world
With spinjitzu. Closest we got was lego ninjago shadow of ronin

There was an online game back when ninjago first came out that sounds exactly like what you’ve described, I don’t know if the servers are still up tho. We need something like that on console
Ninjago was one of my favorite shows growing up, and it actually irritated me that the dont use the classic weapons. They could have easily fit in the 4 Golden Weapons from.the show in with little to no change in how the game actually plays. Also, its such a shame they went for Samurai Nya and not actual classic Ninja Nya with the red and blue costume. I was also sad when I saw no ghost Cole character in there

Well, the thing is, this uses the Lego Movie animation style, so nothing that the lego pieces couldn't do. (I agree it looks weird, but it makes sense.)
if you put it that way i can live with it
but its still rushed like the textures, most characters use the same basic animation if not the same idol animation, you can't hid that lego and TT got lazy on this one or rushed it - but if that was the case why not schedule the movie and game for a later date as they were both rushed. Textures look like a bootleg, no shaders, voice cast had no enthusiasm, and sounded awful I could go on..
The game is very rushed, most of characters are just variants of each other and there is a ton unused high quality characters in the files

as long as it looks better then this garbage I'm down, so far it looks rushed unfinished and most of the characters use the same animation pack with a different unfinished skin

Did they really bring the old character select system? Is this a joke? Like now istnead of having one character and few variants , the variants are different characters istnead

Not only that but they didn’t even give the TV version if characters their correct weapons

To be honest, I wanted a game based on the TV show.
It would have been much richer in content like:
- Story based on seasons 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and maybe make seasons 8,9 and 10 as downloadable content (only accessible after finishing the game)
- Commands for elemental abilities that can be activated with L1 + Square, X, Triangle and Circle, (a bit like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed) which can be unlocked with coins as you progress in the game and will only be for the elemental masters
- Versus Mode, an online mode that allows you to challenge players from all over the world. This mode will allow players to choose between three variants of the mode, the first is "single player" which will allow the player to challenge CPU with which he can decide both the number of enemies and the difficulty between Apprentice, Warrior, Ninja, Master and Sensei .
The second variant is "Tournament", a mode that allows you to challenge players from all over the world to the death.
And the third variant is "Friendly" which will allow you to invite and challenge friends in combat.
- Incredible amount of characters that (including DLCs) could be +1000 (the highest number ever seen in a Lego game)
- The "Search" command in the character board that will allow you to write the desired character and then insert it.
- The "Customization" mode with which you can create your own elemental master, or create a character without powers but with a large arsenal of weapons.
But these characters will not be available in the Versus Mode Tournament.
- Iconic animated series locations such as Ninjago City, Island of Darkness, Orobouros Village, Corridor of Elders and Stiix Village. Which will be reachable by teleportation after unlocking the Destiny Bounty.

True, I would buy game based on TV show anytime. Fucking shame we will not get one
I wouldn't expect an online multiplayer mode, but the rest would have been so much better. Yes, it's harder to do a game based on a show, just because it has a lot more screen time and you would need to cut out a lot of stuff, but it had more potential as you said.
-2/3 of the character in this roster have nothing to do with the movie itself, they are there because TT couldn't come up with more characters.
-This is one of the shortest to complete lego games, given that when I finished story with doing only the dojos and like 5 gold bricks, I was 70% complete. It should have been about the whole series or even break it into 2 like the Harry Potter games and do 4 and 3 seasons with the 8th being the movie.
I liked the game, just because we didn't get anything about Ninjago before, but it certainly had a lot of wasted potential.

It saddens me that the first 2 rows are just variations of the same characters. Wish they combined them like in other games and add more of the other characters.
Not to mention the last 3 rows are from the TV show. I don’t mind have the tv show characters there, but I would’ve been fine with just the 5 ninja, wu, and garamadon. We didn’t need everyone else right down to a snake brute.

You know, when I wanted a LEGO Ninjago game made by Traveler's Tales...i wanted it to be based on the show with the classic designs of the characters..not the movie designs
the wish that never came true for me. at the time at least, a progressive lego ninjago game where you play from season 1 to season 7 or however long it eventually went , and im still saddened i never got it , ninjago was so big , but not one game was released , until this of course

Has anyone noticed the classics just had black shoulder things
the video game gamer it’s a glitch where reflective things become black. It’s really bad for the golden ninja.
The game tried to stretch out the roster by using the different costume to take up more slots rather than just making the different costumes actually costumes like they have do in every other Lego game
Not only that but it’s made even worse when their are 5 different variants of the 6 Ninjas
So theirs 30 of the same 6 Ninjas in the game
To be fair ninjago dosent have massive amouts of characters, im talking about like 150+ characters
it's still cool that they added the classic ZX ninja and the samurai X nya but I would have preferred it a bit if they had their golden weapons (and like a sword for nya or something like in lego dimensions) instead of their slandered ninjago movie weapons
but I guess it's an extra that they added in so I guess it's ok
just would've been a bit cooler in my opinion

they did make a few lego ninjago games for the 3ds and PS vista
the best I think is the shadow of ronin which looks pretty cool and like a standard lego game
there's also lego dimensions if you count that since you can play as all the ninja
but only one ninjago themed level

Is it just me or the game looks like it was rushed? I mean half the characters are reskins, the haven't even changed their weapons or animations...
Of course its rushed the game is just to promote the movie
The textures also seemed rushed as heck, lacking any depth whatsoever.

the voie cast sounds rushed theres no effort to even sound like the cast from the show or movie - its like that with lego dimensions, cast is total shite

I feel the game is lacking , as if its unfinished .. i.e. Lego The Hobbit(still only 2 movies, couldn't add the 3rd yet?). wheres all the vehicles, mechs in the game from the movie ? Unless theres hidden content that youtubers aren't allowed to show.

Great game but the roster feels like it has too many copycats and reskin s which really makes no sense since every other lego game had variations in the same slot with the same abilities, the game only had them in different slots so it can fill out the roster

There's a kid. He meets an asian guy who tells him a story:
So basically there's a kid named lloyd. Everyone hates him because his dad is the evil lord garmadon. Some stuff happens, then lloyd takes the ultimate weapon (a laser pointer) from sensei wu. He uses the ultimate weapon to attack garmadon, but it doesn't hurt him. Instead, it summons a monster (a cat). Lloyd and the other ninjas then travel to find the ultimate ultimate weapons. Then sensei wu falls off a bridge. The ninjas are forced to work with garmadon because wu is presumed dead. Later, they find the ultimate ultimate weapons, but garmadon takes them. Then the monster eats garmadon. Then lloyd talks to the monster, but is actually talking to garmadon, who is inside. The monster then spits out garmadon. They lived happily ever after.
The kid from the beginning then asks if he is a ninja now. The asian guy says no. All he did was listen to a story
