I'm envious of being out in the desert on a rainy day. In my mind I can smell that sage-y, earthy, smell.
They are leasing these in CA. For $350 down $350 a month!
If you look at the used market these seem to make the most sense with about 20K miles on them where you can pick them up for around $25-30K.
You can lease this vehicle right now for 200 bucks a month with $2400 down. That includes taxes and fees. It’s hard to not grab it for a teenager. You can lease the fully loaded touring for 270 a month with the same down. 10k miles. 290 a month for 12k miles.
This is the only car review channel that matters.
I want to watch, but then I don't because this car (and its twin) are going nowhere. Made to meet compliance, nothing more. ...
ok, I watched... very SW storm trooper-esque. To reiterate, I'm not a fan of this car. Maybe if it were more Legacy GT Wagon like (circa 2005) in exterior design
It's a Toyota. No thanks!!!!
These are used bargains
man that interior is a joke, holy shit what a mess.
Sorry, hard to take an EV review seriously with no mention of charging speeds. Especially given this thing has been killed in the US for grossly underperforming the advertised DC fast charging times. Disappointed the supposedly faster charging with the 24 wasn't tested as I've heard it's still awful.
Like most Americans we don't have consistent and reliable access to a DC fast charger ;) and for us to actually review charging speeds accurately we would need to do it multiple times on multiple charging levels and there's just not enough time in the world for that. If charging speeds are your hot button, perhaps you need to be watching Consumer Reports. Advertised charging speeds can be found on the Subaru website.
@@TestDrivenTV Got it. I came to the wrong channel for what I expect from an EV review. No problem. Thanks
Nice review, but this and the Toyota version seem a little half baked... Maybe the next generation will be better
Great for me. I currently only drive my car to and from work. 30 miles round trip. Just test drove it and is great! Have a gas Highlander for long distances!
Overpriced, especially due to the poor mileage per charge.
I'm only here because I saw a video about this vehicle having an excellent lease offer until 4/30/24. Raviwaden video.
I think the gopher from caddyshack is in the car mating and laughing
No rear wiper, same mistake as Hyundai EV.
That Prius like gauge is a massive turnoff good god
It’s so ugly
No one should buy this car. Seriously.
Except me
a small comment. It is illegal to look at your phone while driving...
Depends on the state. But nonetheless good job you win the good citizen prize. Send us your address and we'll mail it out immediately.
Pair your phone to the car !!!
Not like you have to touch your vehicle monitor at all....no such thing as hands free
Sam . . . I don't quite understand the temptation for car reviewers to take EV's through mud, rocks, etc. for testing purposes. They are not off-road vehicles.
This is a Subaru AWD SUV they market to do just that. Why not test it as such?
whew....this car wreaks of cheapness ...the interior looks like a plastic cup......i hear little chicks going "cheep cheep cheep cheep cheep"
