There has been a fair amount of criticism of the Eylau game, and the various revisions and errata that emerged left a number of gamers wary of the work being done by Sound of Drums. But for my part at least I think the willingness of the publisher to acknowledge those concerns and the rapid and professional way the company responded says a lot about their commitment to the gaming community. Kudos to Uwe Walentin and his colleagues for their work and their dedication.
Yes, Uwe talked to me about it, I think that for new systems this is bound to happen, and I was pretty impressed by their reactivity in updating the rules, ensuring the future of the system. Looking forward to my first play of it!
