How to Make a Polymer Clay Checkerboard Pattern for Earring Making / DIY / Beginner Technique

Hello polymer people! Today I want to show you how to make a really simple checkerboard pattern with polymer clay.
If you have seen my Instagram feed - you'll see that I quite often use the checkerboard technique when I make my jewellery.
You don't need any fancy tools for this tutorial - just a blade (rigid is preferred!) and your polymer clay!
