I wish to be rich and have a huge house just to adopt and foster dogs. I also want to be rich to have many Rescue shelters. Here in Puerto Rico, people abandon their pets on the streets every 5 minutes.

I am only 10 years old, but since I was 4 it has been my dream to rescue animals just like Hope for Paws. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep doing the awesome work you are doing. The people who abandoned these amazing animals clearly don't deserve them. Like if you agree.

This reminds me about how i found my kitten.
I was walking around my neighborhood one day when i heard a faint cry from a kitten. I start to follow where it was coming from. The poor thing was so tiny eyes werent even open. The person that lived there said that the mom was attacked and killed by protecting her young and failed to save all but one and herself. I asked if i could take him home and he said i was more welcome to. I fed him and made him his own little bed. He is now 8 months old and growing strong everyday playing with my older dog that took him under his wing

Just like he stood by while baby kitten cried her eyes out.....fur who knows how long!! I'm sure he knows though? Thank you!! Oh, that HANK! What soulful eyes. I hope he found a home that will love him to bits and pieces forever and ever. I hope that for all of these sweet dogs. They all deserve to be happy, safe, and loved.

...My dog was in the streets her name is coco she was really skinny and she was pregnant multiple times and the kids in the neighborhood took all her babies so a year after that my mom got her a dog bed in the winter and she put it out side covered it with styrofoam and cardboard so she won't be as cold and she even went as far as putting a heater in her bed, and near the end of winter when it was warmer I showered her and brought her in side and we would feed her and she's not supper skinny anymore and now she lives with us

A good place to start is volunteering at your local animal shelter. Do the unglamorous work of taking care of animals for no money and see if this is really your calling. Also...begin studying animal care with books or online. See if you have a natural appetite for gaining knowledge in this field. Best wishes.

not trying to tell you otherwise but you will have to put dogs and animals down. my moms friend is a vet and he said it’s so sad when he puts them down and the owners don’t want to see it so the last thing the dogs do is them frantically looking for their owners

I am amazed at how smart all these street dogs are, and yet they come willingly. This rescue centre must have an excellent track record in the community. Even the dogs know to go there for help, basically willingly. Bravo Costa Rica!!
The dogs which were rescued seem to specially love the persons who helped and brought a new life to them. They always show their appreciation to the nice rescuers.

The Humane Society of The United States does the same thing. They rescue not only dogs and cats, but also chickens and horses. They have saved tons of other animals, but these are only some. :) I have faith in humanity from all of the rescues. Hopefully we can all be rich one day and will fund you. :)

I'm an old man sitting here with tears in my eyes with thoughts
of someone pouring hot water on this little female dog. The
person who abused her most likely has already gotten killed
or ruined their life forever. It serves people who harms animals
with swift action imposed by the UNIVERSE. Those who harm
animals will forever be slaves to innocent animals.
At first she was so scared of humans (because she was obviously abused/attacked), but it was so satisfying to look her at the end, she couldn't stop wagging her tail and playing with everyone. Such a sweet puppy full of love...
Absolutely Heartbreaking, but now she is a happy, beautiful little dog thanks to all her rescuers they go out there and do all the hard work both physically and in working and educating people in animal welfare, can’t thank everyone enough, when you lose faith in human nature these people give hope back ♥️
Unfortunately karma isn’t something humans get right away according to their actions and behavior, if it was, I think humans would be a bit less evil. I’m 52 and what I’ve learned through out the years is that karma can take its sweet time to be delivered where it has to. Who knows if the parasitic bacteria=human that hurt that little angel throwing boiling water on her has gotten already what he or she deserves, but I do wish a painful and agonizing life and death for whatever time he/she has left on this planet...
I live in Costa Rica and although I am not Costa Rican, this is sadly something very common that happens to animals especially on the street. People throw boiling water on them to scare them away or get "rid" of them in some way. It's absolutely cruel and hate every bit of it, they do it to cats especially as well.
People should definitely pay for the harm they cause. I've always said I would always love to throw boiling water on those people.
@@pameladiazfc how terribly sad. I dont know why they cant have some empathy for these creatures-Costa Rica isnt the only country with these problems unfortunately. Part of the problem is overpopulation and undereducation.

I cried so hard when I saw this hopeforpaws/dennis. I started my own with the help of a go fund me page. Just make sure you consider the other pets you have in your home. I take in and re-home Dogs, Cats, Birds and reptiles. (no snakes or spiders.)

I can't even find the words to say about how it makes me feel to watch what you people at Hope For Paws do to help these beautiful creatures. I can't explain the fofillment I feel when you's actually take the time to take them for medical care and wash and feed them. Seeing them snuggle up and sleep somewhere where it's warm and they know it's safe with a full belly puts me on another plateau of happiness. I'll tell you that I've been thinking about people who are going through a depression should watch your videos and I'll bet some of these people would feel a bit better after seeing them. I just wanna SCREEM with happiness.

This is so sad. These dogs seem so calm and nice. I almost cry watching. Thank you so much for giving them a chance for a better life.
Hank had the same thing happen with my dog. we got ours out abandoned when he was a puppy. He lived in a reserve for an entire year. Other dogs picked fights with him and he always lost. We got him with a big bloody mark on his head and a gash in his back leg. He would limp around. My mother got him in the car using her leftover lunch. Now he is a lazy spoiled dog at home
