- Have you seen a tattoo machine that lights up and changes color?
In this video we will be diving into the depths and reviewing this amazing 1 of a kind tattoo machine from a company named Inkclaw.
We will unbox, look at the contents up close, take a good look at the Neon Blade, we will test the performance and more! I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for something fun and different from machines we are typically used to seeing. It has interchangeable cams which provides us with versatility, and the body of the machine is completely transparent so we can see the mechanics of the machine in action. It is awesomely amazing to stare at in my opinion.
The Neon Blade can pack black, it can stipple, it can do line work, it can do dot work, you name it. I was also able to push HUGE 123 Round Mag as well with the Neon Blade

I agree! In my opinion this has to be one of the most unique and awesome tattoo machines that I have ever used. I would recommend it to anyone, especially if one is into novelty and different.
Box looks so nice,has a nostalgic antique look to it, and the machine,OMG 1st time I've seen a machine made out of pc resin,the see through with all the neons and machine and being able to see how it works,with the extra body ang the strokes,that's a 5 ⭐for me,don't care if it's laser printed or flaws in the machine,I'd like to own one,Inkclaw comes up with these crazy machines,i'd save some cash and buy it if you recommend it..my Sensei and now the Sensei content creator in the Tattoo category,i know they know it
I agree bro! This is one of my top favorite machines. I know this opinion will vary from artist to artist but for me as an artist I personally love this machine. The box is awesome as well! Ensures our investments remain protected and serves and a great place to store the machine when we are done.
I have also never seen a machine made out of resin! The transparency is what drew me into the machine before I knew it was able to light up. The lights for me are icing on the cake. Haha

Can you adjust the needle depth? If you cannot that’s kind of a fatal flaw…

P.S : I am editing this 5 min later, I changed my mind watching this, is still looking good but ...why ? I guess is nice to have one in the shop, just to flex 💪 show it to customers when you wanna have a break.

I think it’s more of a novelty that tattoos. I have used this machine heavily and the lights have never contributed to my tattooing the lights do contribute to my happiness haha. When I see the lights even through the wrapping I just enjoy the scene. Haha
It’s also a plus that this machine has multiple cams and it also does help that this machine actually tattoos. I love the performance as much as I love the lights on it.

I agree! I love that it has different cams for different geeks if tattooing. I personally have been using the 5mm cam. It hits hard and it’s super super easy for me to line with.
The one thing you didn’t show I’m sure it’s the same but how do you adjust the needle depth looks like a great machine though
Around 14:25 seconds I show the machine close up , insert a large mag and adjust the depth. Although the needle adjustment wasn’t in frame the idea of needle adjustment is demonstrated.

I agree! Inkclaw has to be my favorite tattoo company because of the quality gear they produce and also because Inkclaw is always pushing the envelopes and boundaries of tattooing.

Haha I would agree! It is loud and def fun! It has to be my top 4 favorite machine of all time! I have been using this machine lately and I love the performance. I can shade, line, and more with it. haha It is a blast!

All this machine needs is a speaker that plays a acid 303 sound when you turn it on. Now that's a party! drugs not included LOL! #DanielYuck
I think the whole RGB is a bit overkill, simply because you won’t be working with the lights off.. but who knows? Some people might like that.
Question for Daniel, do you stipple at 7v, too? Or what’s your voltage at when you stipple shade?
Hey bro I’ve notice Dan stipples at 5.0 -5.2 if it helps , that’s pushing cncq2 though
I can understand that aspect! I also have yet to see someone tattoo with their lights off haha.
That’s a great question! I have tested stippling using multiple voltage! I have stippled at 5-8 volts and I honestly got good results from all the voltages.
I think that 5-6 felt more comfortable to me and I also felt that running at around 5-6 volts gives me more times on the skin because of the less RPM the machine does at 5-6 volts versus 7-8.

@Yeehaw that used to happen to me haha. Saran Wrap can be super difficult to work with from my experience.

I'm liking the see-through design but not a fan of the lights as they are pointless for the tattoo process
I also am a fan of the transparent design. I personally love the lights haha. They have never impacted me negatively when tattooing, the only real adversity I’ve experienced is when I wrap the machine the lights aren’t as bright but that’s to be expected because of the covering going on.

So how is the grip since it doesn't have ball bearing click grip.dose it change depths on you while tattooing?I mean u can always use thicker o rings im just wondering if it held up good and didn't change depths right outta the box?
That’s actually a really good question ! I also used this machine on a napoleon tattoo I did a couple days ago and I didn’t notice any needle fluctuations. I don’t remember any needle fluctuations throughout any of my times using the Neon Blade from inkclaw. I would say it holds its needle positions very well especially for having no click grips.

Yes this looks great,but its a Disco gun.but when you wrap grip tabe over it you see nothing.
I was using it a couple days ago. The light does show through even when wrapped but I noticed the light isn’t as bright as it is when there no wrap. So the light comes through just not as much

What stroke is the machine you specifically reviewed?
Also are you going to test other cams and what they are good for in other videos?
If I remember correctly it came with a 5.0 stroke. At around 3:24 we can see the stroke markings on the cam.
