      Niko somehow actually choked entirely in playoffs this time T_T

      @@adhirajdeshmukh6813 yeah, it really was sad to see. I feel bad for him too, because this time he really wasn't feeling it. Everyone is still somewhat making fun of him for the deagle miss but he played very good in that series. Here... I don't know what happened. Seeing him pick up the AWP just kinda gave me the vibe that he was not confident in his rifling at that moment. I can't really judge him cuz I am a shitty nova but I hope he becomes more consistent.

      @@Ghost23712 Imo it's because of the fact that their coach is sick, plus having m0nesy and Aleksi meant they might just be trying. Remember for a first major event with such a team making a final is really an astonishing achivement given circumstances and the team might just be trying stuff after qualified for the event.

    • @Ghost23712
      @Ghost23712 2 роки тому +11

      @@rando4390 that is true. The only map I was actually frustrated with them was Inferno because they threw so hard. But all the other maps, given the bad circumstances they were in had been very nicely played. I suppose I should also give credit to FaZe because despite being a stand in JKs really carried himself there and showed everyone that he can bring his team to victory. FaZe deserve the win, but I am still sad that it had to be a 3-0 because it certainly didn't feel like one.

    When pros like Niko “bait” they are using their teammates to divide opponents attention to gain an advantage. When players in pugs “bait” a lot of times it’s fear of taking engagements. Niko isn’t scared to take the fights once the time is right. Too many puggers never take the fight or bail once a teammate gets killed instead of trading and using that timing

    • @GregorGorjan
      @GregorGorjan 2 роки тому +10

      i don't think its baiting in a bad sense if you trade afterwards or even get 2 kills for one. but it will make people tilt anyway..

      @roblovvorn8564 2 роки тому +16

      @@GregorGorjan that’s my point. If you trade or multi kill it’s usually not really a bait but playing off your teammate. In fact sometimes I find myself begging a teammate to bait me because if he peeks before me I don’t have the angle to trade him but he has the perfect angle to trade me. (Ex if he is new box on Inferno and I am deep coffins, if he peaks early before they cross sight I can’t trade, but if he waits for my contact to swing, we can cross fire and trade)

    You correctly pointed out how NiKo uses the krieg as an awp replacement. This is excellent for set plays and executes where you need someone to lock down an angle as your teammates scale up, and therefore is actually useful against a CT team that is baiting your utility through aggression. I think the problem with it is that the krieg now only fits in that role, and the moment your play goes wrong it's not as impactful or versatile a gun to save as an AK47 or awp. I really like the use of a specific gun for a specific role, but I think valve should buff the krieg and AUG (better accuracy and damage, semi automatic while scoped?) and increase the price to halfway between a rifle and awp.

    I gotta disagree with spacing being a small thing in tier 1 CS. Understanding spacing at it´s core is a small thing and should be expected, but keeping an eye on it on any situation makes a big difference, even in tier 1 CS. When BIG was watching their own gameplay on their german UA-cam channel, one of the most common mistakes they had were spacing mistakes on pressure situations

I still think ropz has better crosshair placement. But NiKo has the better aim especially whilst moving and against moving targets. I think Twistzz’ aim is same as niko’s but he doesn’t 1tap as much during live matches because I think there’s too much as stake if he misses. But NiKo just does them without inhibition like how scream did. NiKo has been working on his 1taps for a long time and he has scream level 1tap skill.

    I can't stand when I'm trying to play smart on a save ( catch rotates off guard, look for flanks, play for enemy timing mistakes, etc. ) and some idiot says "OMG why u no rush B! We lose if no rush B!" and then they all die, get no kills, and contribute nothing. Expecting the whole team to rush on a save every time is just dumb. Being sneaky, doing boosts, using tricky headshots angles, etc. stuff like that is how you can pick up some AK's or M4's on a save and at least damage their economy or even win a save round. It's rare that you see a team win a save round by straight up rushing ( even on the pro scene ). Almost every crazy comeback on a save that you see is from people playing smart.

I like to play longer engagements that say an AK or M4 is going to struggle with and if they are up close its headshot kill is perfect. Why does every use the AK? Poor niko is getting roasted for kato finals even after being the key player to navi's defeat on tuesdaythis video would have probably gotten twice the viewes if g2 had won. Still amazing I personally thought it was very nice keep up the amazing uploads and semi regular streams pls. Fun fact rhinos at a full sprint are completely silent due to them having very very low body fat

    My reasoning for him playing better versus high ranked players than lower ranked ones would be due to the matchmaking system trying to make both teams' rating as close as possible, which might mean that the enemy team has one very good player, and 1-2 significantly worse ones. However, this should also play into the opponent's favor, since Niko is on their opposite team, so maybe it doesn't actually matter? Maybe he just tries harder? Maybe he has studied those players' styles more?
