Maybe curve ended up too high for the deck. Rakdos's return is normally around a 5 drop (maybe 6), 2x Anglers without much graveyard synergy is basically a 5 drop on average. It'd be lower if there was only 1 copy. So Nummy had 6x 5 drops for a deck trying to go aggressive with 2x Rimrock Knights. Perhaps it was dropping one of the Anglers since drawing both was back-breaking, and resulted in two of the losses.
nah - I believe I mentioned in the video but as soon as I sacrifice the harvester the dictate triggers, which allows them to sacrifice the creature I'm targeting with the harvester and fizzling it out
In game 3, when attacking with the Nantuko Husk and the Rimrock Knight, the Knight gets blocked. Why not cast the Dictate of Erebos, sack the Knight and get 4 damage instead of 2? Also, that gets the Dictate on the battlefield earlier.
I think you're forgetting that the keening apparition can sacrifice itself to destroy enchantments. If I play the dictate out at any point BEFORE the apparition dies, they just sacrifice it and kill my dictate
At 23:37 you sacked the bloodtithe while havin the erebos enchantment in hand , if u played it before the sac your op would have to sac a creature as well and you would have lived on 1 life
If I play the enchantment and then sacrifice my creature, the enchantment triggers BEFORE the creature I targeted dies, meaning they can sacrifice the creature I'm targeting
Which is odd considering the format. 2 husks and pia would make me think dictate should be pretty good, not to mention the effect on it's own. The play positions though were just wrong for the dictate at every point. I'm not sure I'd have left it out, except with hindsight of the results.
Secure the Waste loss: I think you should have cast the Dictate of Erebos first before saccing the Bloodtithe Harvester. But I acknowledge this might have been too aggressive. Idk.
Finally got smoked by nummy on the tube 😭the 2nd dragon was just overkill lol
Thanks for being one of the few wins :p
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who drafts a good deck and only gets 2 wins.
I went 7-0 yesterday playing dimir. Watching your videos definitely help!
that's magic bb. ggs. good beats.

In Game 2 does dictate of Erebos, then sacrificing Bloodtithe harvest not win?
Mhmm
@davidraus4892 possibly just a rules question whether the sacrifice trigger on Dictate triggers before or after the targeted creature dies.
@ I think he missed it

@@NumotTheNummyYT oh sweet haven't had the interaction before so good to know

hi nummy :)
Wow running poor
Wow... amazing deck, horrible draws...:(
Waste'd 2 times
I hit 7 - 0 with dictate
Dictate was a dead card in every single game you drew it. It shouldn't have been in the deck.
