Dope that you're including so many panels & info on these characters in their HoX/PoX incarnations. Also, lovin your continual effort to get people to read House of X/Powers of X! Like you said, those 12 alternating issues are SOLID both art & story-wise and should be a must-read for any X-Men fan.
Very excited to scoop this wave next week! I will probably re-read HoX and PoX this week to gear up! It is odd that Hasbro would make that mistake with Omega Sentinel as they have given us quite a few diverse characters, though it would be nice to see more Latino, Asian, Indian and Pacific Islanders.
This figure is just so frustratingly close to perfect. Any paint apps on that one arm cannon or making the hole in the other large enough for blast effects bigger than the little pistol ones would have gone a long way. The fact that they messed up, essentially, her race with the paint job on that second head is baffling. I keep hoping for a running change to correct the skin and hair colors, but unfortunately, that hope is fading.
I figure, at the very least, we'll get a red and black repaint of they Nimrod figure to match his appearance in X Force #39. I'd like to see something more like his original appearance but that seems unlikely.
The hair head sculpt looks based on the bottom right image at 04:07. Hasbro's artist really need to use multiple references instead of the first things they see in a google search.
Isn't that look from the contest of champions. "Minority representation being scarce in pop culture" Not anymore they have pushed it so much they have gone off the deep end ( New Warriors). What year are you living in?
Powers of 10 makes sense if you read the comics, because that's how the different timelines we see are laid out and for other reasons related to Moira MacTaggert. X(10) of Swords also makes sense because it's based on a Tarot card called 10 of Swords. But ya, they have multiple meanings that make sense when you read the books.

This wave was a must buy, anything Marvel Legends X-men or Spider-man. Great review, Boog.
I bought the whole wave Excellent review.
The head with the hair kinda looks like a dark haired variant look of Cylla Markham, from the Reavers.

Other than the hair color mistake, this is still the best figure in the wave

Why are you always here trying to have a political debate? You’re such a weirdo.
Yeah!!!!!!!!
@@BoogNice you brought it up and It wasn't political. I was stating that the push for minorities is at such a level they are going overboard.
@@Tyler_Lalonde- it can NEVER be overboard. Never.
@@BoogNice lol said like a true fanatic. It has definitely gone overboard.
Not accurate to the comics at all but just as far as figure design go she seems like a cool female alien/robot army builder
shouldn't they all be (_____) of (e)X. Swords of 10 doesn't make sense. The whole (of X) is clearly a reference to House of M.
Jonathan? Jonathan Hickman is that you?!
@@BoogNice lol
