Not the first collection that jumps to mind--especially now that the Spirit Collection has so many top pieces. But this is really nice. Great work, Bob!
That watch stand has come in really handy over the years. I usually use it to hold watches that are on deck for videos. It's been there all along but it was just behind me for awhile. Thanks Chris!
I love this watch. To be honest I’d forgotten about it because I’m eyeing a couple of other watches. My favorite version is the smoky grey one, but this green one is quite sharp as well. Agree with you - it is kind of sporty.
Really cool review. I like the fact I see quite a natural light for this video, so you can really see how the green diel reflects and brights the light. Just waiting to see this model in 39 mm to buy it and add it to my 2022 HydroConquest (blue dial).
These are really nice. Having handled the old and the new, the new one is an upgrade for sure. The only downgrade is in water resistance, but honestly nobody needed the 300m WR from the old one and it contributed to a chunky, less than elegant design. It was cheaper, but definitely felt like it in comparison. Not a bad watch, just not as good as this one. I would prefer a clasp with a micro adjust, or even better the quick adjust of the new HydroConquest. Rolex does not seem to need that type of clasp on their sport models, so there's an argument to be made both ways. Maybe the typical customer for these prefers the slimness of a butterfly clasp, but I'm not sure. It surely matches well with the Omega Aqua Terra in both overall type of watch, but quality is up there while being 1/3 the price of the Omega. I hope you get a hold of the Conquest central power reserve soon. I tried one on at my AD the week it came out and it's really nice. That one is a lot more expensive than this Conquest though. I hope Longines come out with a 38.5mm Conquest to compete with the mid-size Aqua Terra models, as that's such a great size. My father has a 7.5" wrist and is quite tall, but still got the 38mm AT, which allows it to be dressy and sporty at the same time.
Seems an overlooked model in the Longines lineup. Gorgeous green, even if yet another capable sunburst, it shows why sunbrust dials are very popular. The side case seems rather flat and not all that thin. I think some barrel sculpting could have helped the view from the side. For me, the watch is just a little oversized.
I think you're right about the case sides. They're a little bland and make it seem even thicker. I have a feeling they'll eventually come out in smaller sizes at some point. Thanks!
Longines is killing it lately, that's a fact. I'll skip the weird lug opening (classic Swiss crap...) and the clasp, just to mention that the logo looks bit fake, unrefined i'd say. Would be better printed too, as all others. Luckily, you won't see that in real life, just in micro... And i wouldn't go green, although this one is deep and elegant. Nice GADA watch anyway, another hit from the brand. Thanks for the review Bob, be well mate.
Nice one ! Is there any rubber strap for this model ? Either from Longines of 3rd party ? I would love it on green rubber with rounded endlinks. Any ideas ?
Nice watch but way too big and the quality of the bracelet should be better. A 37/38mm version and I buy it. This version is good for bigger wrists up from 19cm.
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces talked to some official dealers in Dubai and Germany. Both of them informed me that it is not planned for 2024 yet. Let‘s see. Longines always have and had great 38mm/38.5mm watches from the Master Collection to Record even back to the Saint Imier collection where I have the 38.5mm version. I think I have found my „Conquest“ in the Imier collection.
Nice watch but too large for me. It'd be great to have it with 38 mm diameter in size. Watches have massively grown in size over the past 20 years but I am not planning to wear a watch on my biceps.
@TheNiv99 Not 100% sure. I know one of the last models, the Spirit didn't seem to be too long before they released smaller versions. I'm pretty sure it was within a year.
It does NOT need more water resistance. You realize anything under 100M inis considered the "death zone"? You also realize the world record scuba dive in all of history is 332M? I guarantee you that if you're ever deeper than 100M, it's because something has gone terribly terribly wrong.

The Spirit line up is my fave too. Really enjoyed this one as well though. Longines has really been knocking it out of the park lately. Thanks!
Best watch ever
I love the green dial, but like you I’m not so keen on the butterfly clasp. Glad to see the watch stand reappear.

That smokey grey one looks really cool too. Thanks Jeremy.

39mm would be great for sure. Thanks so much!
Good morning Bob, I really like Longines watches. Another great review. Thank you.
Appreciate Ian. Yeah there's a lot of great watches from Longines lately. Thanks!
That butterfly clasp with no micro adjustment is a real dealbreaker.Otherwise I would definately buy it.
Yeah that's always a negative for me too. Nice watch otherwise though.
The same. I will consider the Hydroconquest GMT...
Only downside with green is it lacks the colour coded date plate? I wonder why?
Very versatile watch that you can dress up or down with:)
Great watch for just about anything. Thanks!

I agree on the clasp. I'd prefer something with some adjustment options. Hopefully they come count with a smaller version soon. Thanks!

They're definitely pumping out a lot of nice watches lately. If I had to pick I really like that brown version. Thanks Stavros!
the zelos spearfish was suppose to be like this but the bezel is useless
Gorgeous Watch..not sure why I don’t have a longines 🤷♂️
I'm not an owner yet either but someday for sure. Thanks!
I need to get my hands on a Longines at some point
Loving some of the new ones lately. Couple others I definitely want to get hands on with soon. Thanks Ken.

Not sure if Longines would have a rubber strap option but I'm sure there's lots of aftermarket options that would look great.
Oddly.. it looks way better in person. Not a fan when looking at images etc.

I'm ok with the size for my wrist but I'd prefer it in a 38mm too. Wonder if they'll make a smaller version at some point. Thanks!

@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces 👍
Muy bonito reloj tiene una competencia que es el Tissot prx que es mucho mas barato, que lo disfrutes 👍
Thanks for watching!
Hope they release a 39mm one. ❤
38 or 39 would be great for sure. Thanks!
do you think they will release 39-38 version?
I think they will eventually.
Do you have an estimate in how long? Do you know how much time passed between the release of the 41 and the 39 in the previous generation?
@TheNiv99 Not 100% sure. I know one of the last models, the Spirit didn't seem to be too long before they released smaller versions. I'm pretty sure it was within a year.
make 38mm version and take my money !
I bet they come out with a smaller version.
Needs better water resistance ,and a micro adjust clasp,

Rubbish lume
A full of elegance watch. An absolute beauty ❤
Completely agree. It's a beautiful watch. Thanks!
