Hey! Fingerboarder here. I would just like to say, pro setups are absolutely worth it! Even if there not 100 dollar ones. The high end p-reps or an exodus completes are a huge step up from a tech deck, and it’s easier and more enjoyable to do tricks on. But, if you have $60 to spend, I would suggest going for a berlinwood “starter complete.” The wheels and trucks are still professional, just not as nice as top level stuff. You also get a berlinwood deck, which is an absolutely top of the line deck! This can be found on flatfacefingedboards and black river’s sites, and is an incredible mid ranged setup. If your going for a pro setup, there’s all sorts of customization you can do! I mean you could just get a pre made complete, but personally I would suggest customizing your setup to your liking! (Unless you really like a pre-made setup). My personal favorite brands are: Deck: Catfishbbq or berlinwood Trucks: dynamic or exodus trucks Wheels: oak or flat face Bushings: Teak tuning bubble bushings Tape: rip tape Hope this helps for anyone looking to buy a more professional fingerboard setup!

How does one go pro on fingerboards cause I think I have what it takes it’s something I do as a hobby and I honestly think I could go pro anything I can do normally I can do switch and same with fakie nollie ect.. and I’m just curious if I could get sponsored somehow or maybe even make money from something I’m super good at 🤔
Before a month I bought the same board as the gripped cheap ones and I learned how to grind and my first try to grind when already got it the trucks were broken. It was just 2BGN which is a dollar.

If you wanted to get a good setup you should’ve gotten a Berlinwood complete cos their cheaper than an actual setup and have blackriver trucks and winkler wheels

I prefer a tech tech with rubber bushings my p.rep wheels fall off a lot and the tail and nose are to low. I'm disagreeing respectfully
Hey, it’s all a preference thing. I’ve personally never had that problem with the wheels falling off, it’s possible the nuts are stripped.

Does it even matter? It's how the fingerboards perform anyway not the tricks. You can get lucky with the crappy ones and not with the dynamics

The crimson ghost one is more grippy cuz they have stickers instead of sand paper and the sticker material stick to ur hands really well
I have a cheap tech deck from Coles made out of plastic with a sticker on the front with a ramp with no grip on the bottom
