Bro it’s worth it. I had to wait years to get a puffco but man it’s quality lightweight. I mean you really don’t need any accessories out of the box. Element vape also sells it for 219 for some reason

I’m just amazed that it’s super ready and useful right out of the box. Personally I take super low temp dabs and I hang out on the blue temp but you really don’t need any more accessories out of the box. I’ve thought about the joystick cap and the hot knife but honestly you don’t need them. If you’re a hardcore dabber with a stupid tolerance that can handle going to the shadow realm just get a peak pro. This device will completely remove the need for 510 carts technically though.
Definitely earned my like and sub, very well explained and thought out. With each new upgrade I was already weighing potential pros and cons in my head while watching/visualizing the moving parts terp spinner ect. But before i could finish going down my own mental rabbit hole about it you had already beat me to it. Very well thought out and explained.
Roger has mentioned in a Q&A that the pass through charging works that way because of two reasons, one is safety, and the other is that the power it takes to heat up that chamber so fast is too high to be sustained by even a usb-c you would need a more powerful adapter like for a laptop, brick and everything.

Did you cut the rubber tether off the stock oculus cap that comes with the Proxy? Seems like it would work better with the OTP Prokulus and a Tuff Tether without the rubber cap flapping about additionally. Great vids btw I'm stoked for 7/10 restocks n sales at Tuff Tethers and OTP etc. you definitely helped me determine my final Proxy setup. Cheers!
It should be the same. The multi pass is if you have both devices and 1 cap. Personally I don’t like switching back and forth I like everything to have a home
i love my OTP banger caps. If I plan to get one for the Proxy I'm ordering , should I skip adding the ball cap? It's cheaper w/the travel pack, which simian my cat, but I’m sure I’ll OTP, sooner than later.

Same here. I have the travel glass and I think that setup is better. I just ordered the guardian bundle too with travel glass. If the proxy had better battery life and the app connectivity, I would get one of those too lol I’m sure the proxy pro or proxy 2.0 (whenever it comes out) will have those features

If you look around you can find spinner pearls I personally like to save up and support the artist that made them taco pearls are also temperature shock resistant so that sets them apart a little more

Thanks for the video : ) HQ concentrates are expensive and I can't imagine cleaning away so much of the concentrate left after a hit. One possible way to not waste so much concentrate is to use a hemp qtip or some other material that can be smoked and then cut off the 'soiled' part of the qtip and smoke that in a joint or something.

You are using a jewelers pickup tool it's called lol I haven't had mine 6 months and had to send it in for warranty. Button wasn't working. I really had to play with it to get it to work. And I agree, I bring a small jar of iso with me everywhere I take the proxy. Waiting on the return! Still not 100% a fan...spending so much money on something, it should work ya know...says made in China right on the bottom so ya get what ya pay for. That's why I crush dabs like a pilgrim with a torch and rig. Proxy was to not smoke carts at work and be able to crush a real dab lol I do like the recommendation on the cap tho. I might have to give that a try!

I suggest places like the Entexchange discord or glass grab / glass pass apps that you can get that stuff second hand for cheaper! I have done this with a bunch of my gear. Entexchange is also a great place to sell used gear

i just got a dr dabber xs. the glass is awesome it really doesnt leak. flavor is great. dr dabber is a great company. they replaced the battery on my boost evo out of warranty for free.
The angle , size , depth of the cut matters a lot. OTP is the originator of this design. Also the length of where it brings the air in goes below the chamber holes helping to keep the dab down

@@bstr8upballa absolutely really easy way to tell. rOsin with an o will be solvent-less rEsin with an e will have solvents. Also anything that says sugar or crystals usually has solvents. When it says Live that means it was pressed before curing and is usually higher end. Live hash rosin is top end. That means it was made to hash then from hash to rosin instead of pressing straight flower. Hope that helps

@8:30 I mean, the Wand works the same way, and it seems like it's just the standard practice nowadays. Even if it's plugged in, it requires the batteries to even operate. I have been interested in the Proxy, I'm not terribly happy with the DynaCoil experience, although the Wand itself is lovely with my old waterpieces. But if the Proxy requires such frequent cleaning, then I think that might be a hard pass. Puffco stuff does seem nice, but I'm lazy, dammit.
Cleaning is super easy, unscrew the atty, soak for 30 mins, air dry for an hour, for the glass, same process. Take a q tip with ISO and clean out the base, ez pz
Your set up is pretty sick. I bought a proxy and a carta 2. I was not satisfied with either. Carta was good until I started running into problems and proxy just never hit hard enough for me. I’m someone who use to milk bongs and try to smoke the whole bowl in one hit. So if you are looking for thick smoke and fat clouds. This isn’t what you should buy. If smoking makes you cough and you like smooth hits this is for you. But for me it just never seems to get me high
Get the 3 grams atomizer for your proxy!!! I just did a half gram dab of 6* rosin and I passed it around between 4 people and that was on green heat setting

Just got one a little over a week ago, tried the ball cap, and it was okay. I got the joystick cap the next day and it’s 10x better.

Can I ask what you mean by the fins? Like the tab where you open it? And are you supposed to have the air hole on the opposite side of bowl stem?
You can put the Air hole on either side towards the mouth is hotter but the glass stays cleaner to the glass it is cooler but messier

Absolutely, it drops the air intake below the holes of the chamber keeping the dab down and it spins like a muther trucker

Can you just pull just enough to rotate a regular pearl, moderate huge hails on white with little to no splash
With the OTP cap it keeps the normal pearl low enough I just don’t like the wear and tear normal pearls do to the walls
What am I doing wrong I have a rockulus and 3mm pearls and I can only get one good hit. When before I could get a few decent hits.

Try a more gentle inhale. With green I usually run 2 cycles

@@bstr8upballa absolutely really easy way to tell. rOsin with an o will be solvent-less rEsin with an e will have solvents. Also anything that says sugar or crystals usually has solvents. When it says Live that means it was pressed before curing and is usually higher end. Live hash rosin is top end. That means it was made to hash then from hash to rosin instead of pressing straight flower. Hope that helps

Budder / batter is a consistency thing you can have live rosin batter. The sugar is almost always with solvent.

The XL OTP I wasn’t a fan of but I do like it in the proxy ! I have not tried the XL proxy chamber as it would make the battery life even worse

Try the new 3 grams atomizer on it. It can do half gram dabs no problem

Battery life is definitely shorter with the bigger atomizer but it's soooo worth it. Biggest clouds out of an e-rig without a doubt

I use terp pearls in mine. And I get virtually no waste or splash. They have to be 4mm or smaller.
Oh for sure anything over 4mm is too big but 2mm I found if someone inhaled too hard it can go in the slots up top

@8:30 I mean, the Wand works the same way, and it seems like it's just the standard practice nowadays. Even if it's plugged in, it requires the batteries to even operate.
I have been interested in the Proxy, I'm not terribly happy with the DynaCoil experience, although the Wand itself is lovely with my old waterpieces. But if the Proxy requires such frequent cleaning, then I think that might be a hard pass. Puffco stuff does seem nice, but I'm lazy, dammit.
If you swab it after every session it’s easy to wipe down with some iso wipes
Cleaning is super easy, unscrew the atty, soak for 30 mins, air dry for an hour, for the glass, same process. Take a q tip with ISO and clean out the base, ez pz
Your set up is pretty sick. I bought a proxy and a carta 2. I was not satisfied with either. Carta was good until I started running into problems and proxy just never hit hard enough for me. I’m someone who use to milk bongs and try to smoke the whole bowl in one hit. So if you are looking for thick smoke and fat clouds. This isn’t what you should buy. If smoking makes you cough and you like smooth hits this is for you. But for me it just never seems to get me high
I can agree with the the carta seems to have issues and the proxy is for sipping. The cricket has been kicking ass for sure.
Get the 3 grams atomizer for your proxy!!! I just did a half gram dab of 6* rosin and I passed it around between 4 people and that was on green heat setting
