@T R Don't give up God will come through for you. It happened to me as well. No matter how things look, everyday God give you and your husband breathe in your bodies THERE IS HOPE! I focused to much on fixing my husband and telling God what my husband did wrong, while I should have been focusing on what I could do to change. The outcome will always be the same if your view about things don't change. God loves you and He longs to see your marriage flourish. I pray God will do a new thing in both of your hearts today!!

I listen to you Br. Steve some times several times a day. I need messages that helps me to overcome daily. I am 64 years old and have known God for 59 of those years. I have tried with everything that’s in me to have a relationship with my Jesus and my Father God. I have had many issues over the years from cancer, depression, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and the joy of four wonderful children to seeing my oldest son on drugs. My husband and I prayed for more than 20 years to see our son set free (it was an off and on battle for him). But praise God he is totally drug free and has been for 9 years and serving our Lord and Savior. I guess what I am trying to say is.... it don’t matter how long you have been a Christian, it don’t matter how spiritual you think you are, we live in a real world with real issues and I need my spirit filled daily to know how to overcome every think that I may face daily. Thank God for you and for the way we can just pull up a message anytime we need encouragement. I love and pray for you dear. Blessings.

What your escaping is the very thing holding you hostage, well put. Particular with addiction and gluttonous behaviors, then the shame begins, the lies need to be maintained, sins that leave you ashamed to face the lord and seek forgiveness. Then it becomes something you run to, to run from all of the shame. Just stay clean people.
