I always think my husband should have been a history teacher.
He has such a passion for it and is so animated when he talks about history.
He knows little things that others don’t that keep you interested.
Unfortunately he isn’t a academic and is dyslexic.
What a waste though

@for real for real that he wasn’t a history teacher?
Some people can be the best teachers of one subject.
That subject can be their passion.
Unless they are academically able to get a degree to teach all subjects then they won’t ever be able too teach that passion.
You don’t think that is a waste?

True story - when I lived in Haifa, every 21 June I used to throw a party called "The Stella Maris Party"; it was atop a hill surrounded by the sea and meadow, a stone's throw from the Stella Maris monastery.
