Great theory! However I thought of something different. Jungkook was the only one not shot by the hooded guys because he is the unfortunate child, like your theory on Spring Day. The boys decided to help each other, Jungkook decided to stay with them and bring each other up. In Omelas, if you help the child, the city will suffer. So they helped him, the other boys suffered. But yeah idk. I'm convinced by your theory anyway haha

hmm maybe the hooded figures are from omelas cause when you free the 'unfortunate child' everyone else can no longer be happy, maybe they got mad at the 'unfortunate child' because he's the reason why they're not happy anymore.. so they killed him hahaha

After watching your video, all I could think was that, yes the shooting was Jungkook's vision of a possible future where the boys get taken down by their past baggage, but the whole point is that it is NOT TODAY. Another theory: A symbolic meaning of a mountain/hill is and obstacle or rising for improvement. The theory could be that it's like a obstacle running away from their past so they decided to improve their future by learning from their past. Just a short theory but I thought it might mean something.
8:59 - bang on!! Even I feel the same ..because in the MV , Rap Mon did a shooting-gesture and in the next scene we see the boys being shot one by one!

From this and the Spring Day theory video I somehow get the vibe that Rapmon is some kind of "god." He really seems like that in BS&T (the way he drinks) and it also fits with your theory of him granting JK's wish + he's actually the one who's controlling the hooded figures (the past?)... dunno if it makes sense, but it just came to my mind.
I really liked when you had Jin as a main character..
Ally in Bs&t Japanese version, there's a part we're Jin beats up V, and there's a part where Jungkook starts hallucinating cause Namjoon gave him a drink, and there's a part we're J-hope drops pills into a fire like in I need u. Obviously this means something
I'm learning so much from these theories. I'm not smart enough to understand every single thing from MV itself but I'm learning something new everytime I watch these theory videos. BTS and bighit team is brilliant!
Ok the part with Jungkook and wishing the boys away confused me. But then I realized: maybe the boys are not shot because it didn't work. Maybe the are shot RIGHT at the moment jungkook wished them away in the other universe. As we have seen along these theories, the are multiple universes and in this theory we are specially looking at 3: the not today one, the one in which jungkook realised that he needed the boys and the one in which he wished them away. Now, if we think about it: in jungkook's world he wished them away and in exact that moment they are shot in not today. After he looks for a second into the world where he is with the boys he takes back the wish and I think that is why in not today they actually don't die. Jungkook sees a reflection of himself in his eye, holding a gun (and shooting his friends?). This is a reference to spring day since he is kinda 'shooting them' by wishing them away. All universes are related. We have seen that a lot of times. Even dope, which doesn't seem like it's in any way related to the other ones. (Dope is an opposite universe of run. Everyone has a character completely different from the one in the other MV. V killed his father and now he is detective, Jungkook was beaten up then he became police man etc. (Not my Theory! I found it somewhere else!))
These are my thoughts on them.
Almost every MV is another universe but they are still conected so that everything they do reflects in some kind the other universes.

Is it possible that the 'Spring Day' scene where Jungkook wakes up in the train and sees the others around him, and the 'Not Today MV' are connected? Because if you look closely he was relieved after he woke up. Maybe the dream he saw was the members getting shot like in this MV?
heyy.. But what about 'for you mv'? Isn't it interesting that namjoon is also working in a gas station there? With Jin washing cars? And Jimin and Jhope are also together in the mv, working in a restaurant.. Idk.. I was never good AT making theories so I'll leave the rest to you guys😂

This is linda what I added..
The boys later begin to run with the hooded figures. Instead of running from their pasts like in "Run", the boys are now running with their pasts in "Not Today". However, one by one, the boys are suddenly shot down... The only person who is not shot is Jungkook. He watches the boys 'die' before his eyes... This is relating to "Spring Day" and how he wished the boys away (in the scene where JK sits alone with a lit candle). In a parallel universe, Jungkook wished the boys away because he didn't want to be trapped by them anymore. What I mean by this is remember in the "Fake Love" explanation we figured JK is the kid in Omelas, which is obviously referenced in "Spring Day". He's the kid who has to suffer in order to keep the rest happy. He feels trapped. We discovered in the "Fake Love" teaser at the "Magic Shop", JK trades himself for a key - a key to unlock his happiness. As soon as he does so, all the boys' fears reappear.... the happiness was only temporary. Jungkook still feels trapped.
Conmected to Jung's map of the soul and process of individuation , they can't ignore, fight or trick their bad sides, or Shadows they need to accept and make peace with it, balancing the Persona and Shadow within them.... which they eventually do in "On".

Hey Ally, There's a new MV BTS just released and its the Japanese version of BS&T. Can you make a theory about it? I got so confused because at one part of the MV Rapmon Looks like he's trying to poison Jungkook and Jin and V fight then V ends up killing Jin @.@ and there were many more details that kinda contrast with some of your theories.
What really got me is that Jimin runs out of the hallway where Jin went in the Awake mv but the wall was white unlike in the Awake mv where it was decorated with an Abraxas (The creature god thing lol) wallpaper. In Your Spring Day Theory you said Jimin was dead. But In the mv of BS&T Jap. Ver. He runs out of the bright light where Jin went in in the Awake mv does that mean he was alive? But as he ran he went in a door where he found another version of himself. I think Jimin tried to wake him up or unbind him from the blind fold Suga tied on him but he failed as Suga covered The other version of himself again then he got blown/shot off the room.
I will speak no more because i want to talk about it in your video about the Japanese Ver. of the mv, if you will but i will wait because my head if starting to fill with theories XD. Thanks~
