As I am fairly new to poker, I am going to a poker club for practice, and one evening there were not many people who showed up due to bad weather and what not. So there is the first league and the second league in this club. As a newbie, I had to start in the second league of course but that night we were only two. I suggested we play anyway so we can practice headsup play and simply to have some fun, but the other guy said "ah, no I dont like playing headsup, lets watch the first league instead..." that was so annoying but he paid for it some weeks later when he had managed to get into the heads up of a bigger table, only to loose because he was playing so poorly - I think my grandma could have beaten him lol
If he could have stayed away from the craps table, he would have been a massive winner for a long time. I don't _know_ whether he has adjusted to the huge changes in the game but he was a top player for years. I have only been at the same table as he was once, in the Seniors at the 2007 WSoP, but I know that he was a strong player.
5: Don't be satisfied 5a: You've made the money? Keep playing 5b: You've made the final table? Keep playing. 5c: You've made the big money? Keep playing, keep playing hard.
Yeah this is definitely one of their more 'vague' videos especially given the title of the video! Great channel with other great uploads nonetheless but this one I wouldn't recommend
TY. I will apply lesson learned and see what happens
i combine tight/aggressive with small ball, its up to you whether a play style will help you win depending on your application skills

How do we know how good your grandma is though, she could be a pro, hehe
I did start to use the icm calculator which gave me a goal to get deeper into one tournament I played. I got 212th out of 1500 I believe
tj cloutier and tom mcevoy wrote championship tournament practice hands
Ty
Thankyou
TJ Cloutier has never been one of the better players that guy is pawning off his wedding ring at the local pawn shop to get any game going
he could have gone to college and make money off of grants, grants are way fucking better than student loans
