Hey man nice chatting with you on twitch yesterday. I was looking at some of my recent logs and the meathook trinket seems to be doing decent damage. It more rhan doubled the sac brood but its also a mythic track vs the hero track sac.
Sacbroods strength isn't from the damage proc, its because its essentially a haste/strength stat stick that will give you a lot of strength with its procs. The damage proc is just a little bit of extra value. Sacbrood is always less than 1% of my overall damage in both real dungeons and on sims
