@ladyofrillwater When I said that Merrill, Izzy and Varric have the best banter, it’s not only when they’re together. So you don’t need to change your party completely. For example swap Anders for Merrill, unless you’re playing on nightmare you can do without a healer and she’s got great banter with Aveline and Varric. Or just look at my banter videos, I uploaded full banter for DA, Legacy and MotA.
@FluffyNinjaLlama I tend to have me (offensive [in every sense of the word] mage), Varric, Aveline and Anders. Occasionally swapping Aveline with Fenris. I suppose I could swap her out with Merrill, but I feel so weird not having some kind of warrior in the party.
