Ouuu happy to see u again Tricia and squad🤭🥰. A little different twist to fruit cake but I bet it tasted great and right here awaiting part 2 lol. Only thing I was like 👀😳🧐🧐🧐 eye balling the mixing bowl thinking if we have to come run a barrier around that basin before we had and overflow of batter eh😂. Everyone has their way of doing their fruit cake, it's nice to try different things so next rounds try processing the prunes, raisins, currants, mixed peel in a food processor and soaking with cherry brandy and some rum. And all u have to do is add that mixture to your batter! Trust me u will get a moist delicious cake and of course I add cut up cherries to the batter before adding to the pans. Here for part 2! Loveee u❤❤

Happy blessed Anniversary to Andre 's parents. Love how the family working together. Family is everything, big up to you Trisha. I always enjoy your videos, everyone do fruit cake different, I place a small bowl of water in the oven with the cake, so it steam the cake n keep it moist. Your mother in law made a mistake 8ozs is half pound, I think I heard her said 8ozs is a pound, I wasn't sure if it's what I heard. I can't wait for part two, blessings n love to you all.

Love the texture and color of the cake . Simply amazing. But what I do and it works well is to apply parchment paper and the bottom of the baking pans . In that way the cake don't stick and no flour . ❤
