Omg i love that you are going to different book stores...i love physical copies but i literally never read them. Im an audiobooks girly but i get the physical copy if i love the book
As a CO local I LOVE 2nd and Charles a lot of the books are used and in great condition when re sold it’s basically like Hastings back in the day was just like 2nd and Charles taking second hand things and re selling them at a lower cost I’ve bought 2times the books at that store than at any other local one or Barnes
As someone that lives in Colorado, it's so much fun watching people visit and all the things they see. I used to live in Denver but moved and some of these books stores I haver got the chance to visit. I definitely need to check them out soon 😍
I found Tattered Cover Book Store from NayaReadsandSmiles and this bookstore is one of my dream bookstores to visit! OMG! I 🤎 the Black Eyed Peas CD! 💿 I remember audio books in cassette tapes. 📼📼
You’re right! I believe 2nd and Charles and Books A Million are sister companies. Love the bargains in both! Ca never leave with just 1 book either lol
There are actually a couple more locations of Tattered Cover that you can check out the next time you’re in Colorado. And, sadly, a few locations (Highlands Ranch, 16th Street Mall, and McGregor Square next to Coors Field) that are no longer with us.
As a colorado girly, loved seeing what you got up to during your visit! Totally resonate with black girls on fantasy covers mean insta reads. I was just joking with Analeigh Sbrana (Author of Lore of The Wilds) that a lot of times thats all it takes for us to pick up a book. 😂

Hi Hi! If you visit Denver again I recommend stopping into Kilgore Books and Mutiny Cafe. The Tattered Cover, Kilgore, and Mutiny are my top 3!

I LOVE 2nd & Charles. They sell used books which is why some of the books are so cheap:) I’d love to see them replace Barnes & Noble 😂
