    I looked back to some of the early times. How much more brave and willing to try - and even sophisticated - this dear group has gotten! They trust the food people not to poison them or give them non halal foods. Even when the foods are not favorite, they are so polite. I noted that early on utensils were hard for them to manage, but now they are experts. Their personalities continue to shine and they continue to praise God.

      @@NotUnymous I live in Vermont, USA. Here a smoothie is a blended drink using fruits/fruit juice/usually ice/veggies if desired. It does not use milk.
      A milk shake is a blended drink using milk as the base (instead of juice or water). Ice-cream can be used for a richer, thicker texture. If you don't have ice-cream, you can get the thick and frothy texture from blending milk, a banana, and ice together. Then you can add extra ingredients for flavor. It's delicious.

    There is a difference between shakes and smoothies. Please let them know that is not a shake, but a smoothie they are drinking. Maybe next time let them try a milkshake.

    • @Kiraj8de
      @Kiraj8de 2 роки тому +4

      I guess it depends on where you live, but where I live in the US... if the base of the drink uses milk, then it's a milk-shake. Restaurants often add ice-cream for a more satisfying experience, but just using milk is still a milk shake. After the milk (or ice-cream) you can add more ingredients to it for flavor. If you just use milk, then you can thicken it with blended ice and a banana. It will give you a nice frothy texture similar to using ice-cream.
      A smoothie is a blended drink using a base of water or juice, where you then add ingredients like fruits, veggies, ice, etc.
      This could be different in different places of the world, but that is my understanding of it.

    Where I live milk shakes are made with ice cream and some milk to thin it to make it drinkable. It is blended in a blender. They can come in different flavors such as chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, mint etc. Maybe sometimes have pieces of chocolate or cookie or candy mixed in. This is definitely more of a dessert treat.
    Milk and fruit is what we would call a Smoothie. Sometimes in Smoothies people will add yoghurt as well. Typically frozen fruit or add in ice and blend them.

    Original mango milkshake
    Everyone goes crazy when I make it!
    it’s all about the amount to make it taste great!
    First blend mango and milk together in such a amount that it’s not too yellow or whitesh
    Pleasant to look at
    Second add sugar but not to much so you could just tell that mangos were sweet where you can’t differentiate between actually having sugar or not in it
    Last step add ice and make it thick as much as you want
    For extra stuff I love cottage cheese in mango milkshake but very small pieces😍
    From Peshawar/Toronto ♥️
