Hi! I live in New Zealand, I'm originally from Croatia, and I can say this country truly is nature's masterpiece. To all travelers we are extremely safe but of course no country is crime free. I recommend to see the North Island, and then by the ferry from Wellington travel to the South Island. You won't regret it!
