@@TokenizedAI I finally tried that, but it says: Subscription required. Due to extreme demand we can't provide a free trial right now. Please /subscribe or try again tomorrow. lol, thanks for the great feedback. Though I think I still have quite a long way to go, haha. I'm just happy that I've already managed to get close to 10k so quickly. I feel humbled.
Yes, I am a paid subscriber but mine says "This requires to have Manage Server permission in the server" How do I fix that? Thanks. And I am loving your channel. Thanks for you hard work to put it all together for us. 🙂
Thank you! Why am I not getting the Seed Number when replying to the bot? I am replying with envelope, but not getting a response. Any idea or solution to this?
If you're trying to do this on an upscaled image in v5, then it's not working because v5 doesn't actually have a real upscaler yet. So there's so seed for you to retrieve. Only works on the 4-image grid right now.
Hi Chris, thanks! Please keep making more MJ related videos. I have my own server thanks to you. Question, how do I join a Community/Channel Gallery like: # daily-theme and post an image I created?
If you are still using your trial credits then you're limited to the #newbie channels. Paid subscribers get access and can post in all channels, including #daily-theme because they are no longer considered newbies. Sometimes there is a sync issue with the Discord roles. If that's the case for you, contact one of the support staff/moderators and they'll help you out.
I know that people can probably still find my images through Midjourney's website/gallery, but does this keep my generated images more discreetly, since its on my private server? I know there is a /stealth mode, too. just curious how adding MJ to a private server changes the privacy of your images
Fair question. Basically this just removes all your activity from publicly visible Discords. So it's not 100% private for the reasons you already stated, but it's like working in your own workshop that has glass walls. I like it because I can create a new channel for each project. It's just tidier.
Hello i just wanna make it clear that when you add midjourney bot to my personal discord it doesnt charge anything? When i prompt an image ? Or this is not permanently free and you eventually have to pay a subscription? Thanks
@@TokenizedAI because of other open source ai like chat gpt and dall e , but yeah i know with more varieties of option to work with midjourney, just wanna clarify, thanks for the info, 👍
Nothing in particular, other than the fact that you could technically separate different projects or topics into separate channels. If you run a community, you can also add the bot so that the members of your community can use Midjourney as well. It basically gives anyone on the server access to the bot, even if they don't have an account themselves.
@@TokenizedAI maybe a stupid question, but i created a server and added the bot and a friend. why can't i see what images the bot is answering to him, and he can't see the images the bot is answering to me? i mean on the official server i can see what the bot is replying to everyone and they can also see what the bot is replying to me... it's like the bot is replying in private to every member. we wanted the same behavior as in the official server, but less crowded.

Go to Server Settings > Integrations, then select the Midjourney Bot and click on "Manage". From there you can limit slash commands to a specific channel rather than all channels, which is the default.
@@MyJourney_InThisWorld I honestly recommend giving it a try for a month. $10 is fair. $30 might be a bit much for a lot of people but the nice thing is that you have relax mode and it allows you to experiment so much more.
I am actually trying to work something out. Not sure if it’s possible however. I have a NFT collection dropping very soon and one of the many benefits was going to be: - my discord will be 100% token gated to only holders of my NFTs. - holders would have access to a forum that allows them to request image prompts daily. (I understand this is a huge amount of work on my end to go through, but I truly love the concept, considering people on fiverr charge a fortune for professionally mid journey generated images. Now, again I FINE with doing things the manual route like mentioned above but I am wondering if there would be a way to maybe allow people very limited time periods to generate images on the server or if midjourney even allows something like that. [ Technically it would be a form of affiliate generating for people who hold my nfts, I suppose] just wondering what your thoughts are on the subject! Either way, I'm ensuring the project had MULTIPLE benefits. I am a professional playing card designer and I love strong communities above all else, really hoping to create that environment with "DEGEN BOTZ". I have doxxed myself on Twitter as well as on a few of my older discord servers. I'm all about being 100% transparent, something I believe to be a MUST in the nft space after it's gotten such a bad wrap for the past few years
Build the community first. Figure out the rest later. The NFT-first approach is going to deter people more than attract them. It's just not a good time to be marketing NFTs.
Great! I'm new to AI images and I was staying away from Midjourney because of the "need" for the public Discord server. I'll give this a try
This is a game changer in terms of personal sanity 🤣

Thanks a lot, easy, yes, but a long time to find the info to do it, so Thanks!
Glad it helped!
Great info! Thanks for sharing! Really cleaned up my Midjourney experience.
Great to hear!
Very useful. End the noise!! Thanks a lot!🤩
Refreshing isn't it?
Thank you! It drove me crazy typing in a prompt in the newbie channels and then have to search for the picture while everythin ist still rolling...
I think we all know that feeling 🤣
Thank you so much for your time, Thank you so much! Your other videos are incredibly helpful too
Thanks for your prompt. I am already using Leonardo but for consistency i found Midjourney can be better.
Plus, the image quality is still way beyond Leonardo.
This is really a great and helpful video. Thank you so much! Your other videos are incredibly helpful too. 👍👌
Happy to hear that!
AMAZING!!! Thank you! Now i can make stuff for my cool relaxing music channel . Thank you!

Appreciate it ❤❤

Hey Chris bundle of thanks for the video. May I know which recording you are using for cam desktop recodins

Neither DALL-E nor ChatGPT are open source. DALL-E gives you 15 free credits per month, but that's it. And ChatGPT definitely won't be free forever.
what are the advantages in adding it to a private server as opposed to just messaging the bot?

Will members be able to prompt midjourney without subscription ?
No, you still need a subscription in order to use it.
When I click on members list, no one pops up. Any help?
Not really sure what you mean by that, tbh.
Heyy thankss, your video is very helpfull. ❤ Can you explain about making money with AI/midjourney?
Thanks! I'll try to create a video on making money with Midjourney soon.
How the heck do I GET the server!?
I literally explain it in the video. You need to watch the whole thing.
Can other people in the server use it?
Only if they have their own subscription. You can't "share" a MJ subscription.
🏆Thank You🙏
You’re welcome 😊
Even in your private server there's a limitation for who is on Trial basis, correct?
Of course, why wouldn't there be?
@@TokenizedAI It could allow more images to try it out. But I guess that after the trial period the subscription is really the way.
