I don’t think you realize how maybe people watch and REWATCH these episodes. Stop stressing, the people truly love and appreciate you. You guys I understand are hard on yourselves, but we truly love you!❤️ -a viewer of +7 years, love helping us all grow. 💙
I also hope you know alot of people that are watching you, we work so much to try to be as successful as you, and you all are an inspiration. You drive us all to work up the totem poll and work for what we deserve. @ElizaberhGorden especially you empower a lot of us WOMEN. !!!
As a momma I want to say Ryland has the view points that is my reality. After having my son at 21 so 2 years ago my life has just gotten better. I'm happy, I'm thriving, I'm becoming my true authentic self all thanks to my son. Obviously this doesn't happen to everyone but for me, My life become whole the second he was born. I realized what I wanted in life and I realized happiness was possible and now I'm a landlord, working in a career that I 100% love and I'm grateful for and I'm overall just grateful to my son for coming into my life when he did because he made me the person I am.
I don’t know what’s taken me so long but I am obsessed with you two and there’s no going back 😂❤ I’m watching all the older eps too and they’re just great 👏
Being a parent is a lot of work and a lot of responsibility but to know that these little humans love you UNCONDITIONALLY is the biggest reward in life. I don’t miss clubbing, drinking or anything really. I LOVE spending all my time with my kids and now that I’m pregnant with my third I can’t wait to see my littles fall in love with their brother just like my husband and I have. It is endlessly rewarding makes you forget all of the worries in the world. ❤
I'm crying I really needed the message Chris wrote on the slate today 😭❤ I love you so much Chris thank you so much for caring about us 💖 I need to get help coping with my depression and after seeing your message I'm scheduling an appointment with a new therapist. I'm so very thankful for The Sip and for all of you guys 💜💜💜
Tara, you are brave and strong. It’s so great you have the self care to find the right therapist. You are loved, and deserve to be your happiest self. 💖
I've felt the need to reply to your comment here ❤ I'm proud of you for taking that first step, it's the first step in the right direction to an even more amazing you ❣️ you've got this 💕
Depression be hitting really hard lately thank you guys so much for being here to bring me some much needed comfort 💜 Love you so much Ryland, Lizze, and Chris hope you all have a super amazing week ❤
As a single mother of a 15 year old and a 3 year old, I can say that yes, your life will be over. Your passions will take a back seat. You wont be able to have conversations.....TEMPORARILY. Its all temporary and while it is hard af you will also discover a new level of love that you never even knew existed. Its all worth it.
i would like to say something: i love this pod because it helps me to relax and unplug but also, lizzie. im here especially for lizzie’s sobriety journey. i have been sober for 10months and i get the “relationship with alcohol” bits- it’s a lover. im a bartender and i can still enjoy my job- i make the cocktails and ask others to taste them- but ever so often, after pouring a glass of wine i would give it a sniff. and i always say out loud “i miss you but we have a toxic relationship”. i do miss wine, but this new sober life is so beautiful! ❤
I miss ice cold beer and/or wine on a hot summer day the most! I've been sober for a little over 2 years now and the summer time can be a HUGE trigger for my drinking because I used to LOVE to knock some booze back on a hot summer day! Or on the holidays to celebrate. I'm still learning how to navigate my life without booze even over 2 years later and I'm not a bartender so I can't even imagine the level of temptation you have! I don't even go to parties/family gatherings anymore because of all the alcohol consumption still triggers me really badly. Keep going! I'm proud of you! 🙂❤
Parenting is incredibly hard, and I do have moments when I ask myself why on earth I thought it was a good idea to reproduce mini versions of myself - but it’s also the BEST thing in my life, I don’t even know what meaning my life had before kids. It’s a wild ride for sure, but absolutely worth it ❤
As an insurance agent, it’s definitely not dark to arrange a will, have your Life Insurance line, know your burial plans, etc. That is all part of the responsibility of being a good parent, your child shouldn’t be left with the decisions and burden of your death if you can help avoid it. Good for you!
As a first time mother to a 18 month old boy. I can confidently say my labor was crazy, I had a placenta abruption which led to a C-section, kind of a traumatic situation and once he was out it was the most joyful feeling. The experience of labor did not kill the experience for me. Bringing him home and our life since has been great. I wouldn’t want my life any other way and I would do it again. I wish I had him sooner. I am tired and still breastfeeding but I can do it because I love him more than I love my sleep and alone time.
Just want to say that I'm sick right now, and worried I might lose my job because of it. But watching you guys gives me so much comfort and happiness. I really appreciate the podcast
As much as I lose my ever loving mind some days. I LOVE nothing more than my babies and having them. Regardless of the sleepless nights, the tantrums, the mess, the crazy. There’s SO much love, SO much gratification, SO much happiness. It’s such an amazing experience to be a parent ❤
You guys make Wednesday my favorite day of the week! Getting off work knowing there's an episode waiting gives me the strength to get through the day. Such genuine, wholesome, and funny people!
Hi guys🥰 love you both, I watch every single week! I just want to add to the “are we truthfully ready to be parents” segment. I am a 25 year old single mum with a four year old and two year old. I can say I never obviously had the time to plan, but the chaos and love my two boys bring is so joyous and I cannot imagine my life without them! If I had a lot of time to consider children and observe others; I never would have done it either!😂 nothing can prepare you for parenthood… but it is the BEST most fulfilling journey you will ever go on. I regret nothing and myself and my boys are thriving🫶🏼
Whoever told Lizzie about motherhood needs to be thanked because she’s spreading the truth 😂😂 people need to know before going into it your life isn’t over but it is completely and totally different! And it can be scary and hard but it is worth it 😊
I don’t know why people are complaining about Lizzie. I think she’s amazing and I love the vibe her and Ryland have together. You can tell they’re besties in real life with the way they interact. This is my favorite podcast!!!!
My kiddo finally came to me at 37 I can honestly say that she is the single best thing ever. Not every minute is great but the total experience is AWESOME and I love the person I am
“You’ve been doing a lot by yourself… and you have so many friends”… this hits home. So many people think I have so many friends and “people that care”. But at the end of the day those are all people I have to drive to, take time out of my week/month/ year to ever see. And takes days for some to text back/ ignored when I ask friends to come visit. If you consider someone your best friend but see they are lonely you are doing something wrong.
I love being a mom, and there are things I do that I put on hold for 7 years while they were little, then I was able to pick those activities back up. When they were extremely needy I reminded myself that these years are relatively short and to enjoy them in the moment because they will pass quickly, which they did. My girls are adults now.
As a young mom who didn’t really want/ plan for her baby, being a parent is 1000% the hardest job in the world but I 1000% wouldn’t change a thing. Every time I look at my daughter I just think of what an amazing creature she is. Children are truly amazing. I respect anyone’s decision to not have kids but I also don’t want anyone to not have kids because they are worried it’s going to be too hard. Yes, it’s hard. Everyone knows that. But it’s sooooo much more! Also, remember your children won’t be super annoying and needy forever (in most cases anyway) they do grow up and hopefully become your best friends!
I for sure thought I was going to be an absolute mental and manic chaotic mess as a new mom considering my long history of depression, manic/depressive episodes, borderline, etc. and I was kinda scared. I thought I’d get postpartum psychosis or something. But tbh, it was the opposite and balanced my hormone and brain chemicals or something. Obviously being a parent is not everyone’s cup of tea and that’s totally fine. But it hits real different when it’s your baby (adopted, IVF, natural, etc.), cause it’s YOUR baby. You’re going to be a beautiful, amazing mom and everything in your life up until the day you see that baby’s face will have made sense and be all worth it.
Chris, you have a beautiful soul, it was so thoughtful for you to write what you wrote on the slate. Funny enough I texted 988 just a couple hours ago and didn’t follow through to begin a conversation with someone because if I tell them I’m suicidal, they can report me and cops could show up at my house. I’ve been 5150’d before and it’s the worst thing that can happen to an already suicidal person. So sadly I have no one, not one single soul to talk to about how badly I want to die. Anyway, love you Chris. Thanks for the thought and effort and kindness and love.
Advice segment was great. I related a lot to the question and the way you guys answered is very similar to the way my man responded to me in my time of need and it helped. Ultimately I had to get there on my own, we can only truly save ourselves, but having someone beside me and supporting me and vocalizing their love and showing their love through actions made a significant difference. In a relationship you are a team and you don't leave your teammate behind ❤
I love the whole podcast and all of the personalities together!! It always makes me laugh. You guys are such a vibe. I loved the moment today with Chris and Lizzie with the hippos. 😂❤
Makes me a little sad that you haven’t been told the positive side of being a parent! Yes it can be difficult. But aren’t all good things in life difficult? As a mother to a 1 year old, yes it does change your life, but i cannot for one second imagine my life without her ❤ the hugs, cuddles, learning things, learning more about yourself at the same time and growing with them. It is beyond worth everything. ❤️
I also threw my back out about 5 weeks ago. Recovery has been so slow and I miss when my body worked lol please share your back healing tips and tricks for the old ladies
The conversation about the new scream made me realize I haven’t watched the new one when I totally thought I did 😂 I just watched the other one with Jenna and assumed it was the new one bahahahahahhaahahhahaha
I can tell you after having two kids... the toddler stage is wayyyyyyyyyy harder than the newborn/baby stage. I have a 3yr old and a 1month old. And even tho sometimes my toddler makes me wanna pull my hair out and scream because of her attitude...I love them both so much and they complete me. DO it lizzie!!
Having a spoiler for movies and shows that just came out is the biggest reason I don't desire clicking on this podcast , I even tried skipping but couldn't get to my phone in time for the biggest spoiler ever I'm so fuckin over this tbh
We gave like 3 verb warnings and I put it all over with title cards and the description. We can stop doing any spoilers in the future but I did as much as possible to let everyone skip easily
Also my toddler is my joy and light. He's so funny, smart, silly, etc.. Usually the issue isn't with the toddler but with the expectations set by the parent. If you expect a toddler to act like an adult then it's obviously going to be hell because they can't meet that expectation. The more you understand your toddler, the easier it is.
Had my first child 2 days after I turned 16. For the first year of my sons life I always had moment where I wondered if I’d ever have my life back. I lost the chance to finish high school because of working. Lost so many friends because I never had the time for them but at the end of the day I would look at my son and realize that my life isn’t over. My life is just beginning ❤
this was so funny watching Lizze find out she was wrong 😂 parenting is tough and you can feel siloed at times but then when you meet other parents you learn that they struggle with some of the very same things. Good idea to spend some time with other parents rather than going in blind
I’ve known since I was little I wanted to be a mama when I was almost 20 I got pregnant and had a miscarriage and we tried a whole year until i finally got pregnant again that year I felt so depressed and hated seeing other people I knew getting pregnant who I knew weren’t trying and I felt like my body was defective my daughter was due on our 5 year anniversary and although I had anxiety something would go wrong I was so happy to finally have my rainbow baby.. she has brought so much joy into my life and I’m so thankful I havnt had any postpartum issues other than body negativity and that I was able to do a water birth how I wanted and that my breastfeeding journey has been so easy for us 💖
Motherhood is definitely HARD. but I agree with what your friends husbands said. Lizzee you’d be such a good mama😩💜 And your bby won’t turn out like no punk with you as their mommy!
I am almost 42 had my 1st son at 21 who is almost 21 and my 2nd son is 17...let me tell you.....time flies. I miss then being babies, raging toddlers and most of all the talking back teenage years. I cherish all of those memories.
Lizzie with her random stories, first about Titanic, now about Escobar's hippos is just amazing! Now I want a separate segment of the podcast with just stories like these😂
Having a child has been the most wonderful but most difficult thing I have ever been through. Your life will change so much when you have a baby but you get into a new routine and get used to it. If your not a person that likes to go out every weekend with your friends then the change wont be too difficult. The hormone thing is so real too Lizze so just be prepared. What heloed me was getting outside every day and getting some sun. Honestly the first night I got a full 6 hour stretch of sleep after the newborn stage was unexplainably amazing! And then when I started to get into a routine and feel like myself more it was the best feeling ever and I was SO proud of myself. My son is going to be 3 in July. Sure there are very tough times but for the most part he is such a sweet and funny boy. You grow and learn along with your child and it is the best thing ever 😄❤
Being a parent is extreme in both senses. It can bring you the most happiness you've ever felt, but it can also bring you the most stressful moments of your life.
LIZZIE!!! No more spoilers on brand new movies!!!!!!! Omg I was screaming Don’t do it!!!!! And I had to just shut the pod cast off. There was nothing on the screen that said when to return so this one pissed me off lol. ❤
I watch you guy’s religiously and love every episode!! But nope that was not a help. You have to scroll on the time line and while you’re scrolling the pod is still talking so just sharing my experience from it :) I’ve been waiting to see scream which I’ll be going this Friday!! Woo hoo! And I did not want any spoilers lol. Totally ok on some old show or movie that people have had time to watch by now but don’t do new ones! Lol!!! K love you guys!
YES IM SO FUCKING MAD. Time cards don’t do shit for not spoiling when it’s a movie that just came out and I’m cleaning the house LISTENING to a podcast not sitting there manually scrolling to see if they’ll be rude enough to spoil it.
Choosing not to have children doesn't keep you locked in a chapter of your life where you don't progress. That is one way of looking at it that might help you if having them isnt something you chose or it's something you regret, though.
Doesn’t matter what my mood is, I always have a great time with you guys. I really really love it, thank you ❤ I was so tired and just meh, but second you started grumping I felt home 😅 and nothing will make me click out of podcast Ryland, don’t worry :))
Having an ED, I really appreciate you suggesting the boyfriend make her dinner. Before my boyfriend, eating and food were hardly on my mind and everything sounded disgusting, getting COVID the week you separate from your spouse of 11 years and losing all your smell and taste for 2 years can really .make it easy to develop a food aversion. However, since my boyfriend, he makes me dinner each night and something for me the next day during work if I decide to eat something. He knows I have a sweet tooth and could graze on Skittles throughout the day, but instead his healthy meals have helped me soooo much. Never in so many years did I think I could get out of my head to eat an actual meal. It does work.
In a world where so much is unstable right now, having an hour to spend with you guys (every week- consistently) giving me that serotonin fix that my depression needs LOL means everything! Thank you for working so hard Ryland, Lizzie and Chris to bring us an escape from a chaotic world once a week❤
We went to LA for the weekend just this last weekend March 11. We were there to see AFI perform at the Forum. It was an amazing weekend to say the least. I was on the lookout for you guys. That would’ve made the weekend. Absolutely perfect. Maybe one day 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️💕It did not stop raining the entire weekend.
i feel this, she can come off agressive which then makes ryland have to be agressive back to defend himself. i understand it’s their friendship but i would hate for the way they treat each other when podcasting together to effect their friendship in the long run.
Movies are supposed to be fun and entertaining and lizzie clearly can’t just watch movies for ‘cause of her career choice. Nothing against her 🤪 And Kevin Williamson is the story writer for Scream and dawson’s creek
Lizzie.. if it makes you feel any better. Not all babies are that hard with sleep training etc. I have a 17mo old now. She has slept through the night since day 1. I mostly thank the crib we got for her. It was one that rocks and makes the white noise ocean sounds. Not the one that’s like 2k price tag, that was nuts. There are cheaper ones out there. 4moms is the brand of the one we got for her. The hardest part was and still is leaving everyday to come to work. Really jealous my husband gets to stay home with her during the day currently. Ryland… it doesn’t make your life better instantly. But it does help you not fixate on things because all your extra time when they are awake goes to them especially. So that it has definitely helped on. To you both… you will still have and find time to do things that you are passionate about like film, etc. I in my spare time do crafting for shows and still have the same drive to do those things, i just get to bring my toddler with me to the craft shows now. :) Don’t fret what other people say… everyone’s experiences are different.
Ryland wearing “favorite daughter” sweater is everything
This clothing brand is so good, their jeans are everythinggggg
Just noticed that too. 😂😂😂
Becoming a parent really is an awakening of yourself in so many forms. You truly become a new version of yourself and it’s beautiful to see.
Ryland you and Shane will be great dads. Don’t worry about that and don’t let any one take that joy away from you.
I don’t think you realize how maybe people watch and REWATCH these episodes. Stop stressing, the people truly love and appreciate you. You guys I understand are hard on yourselves, but we truly love you!❤️

And Ryland your hair looks so good today it’s so perfectly quaffed!!!
i agree & his eyes are so blue like Chris said, the color of his shirt brings out his eyes
@@dez2158 exactly he just looks so good, and he’s killing it with the outfits!!!
I love when Chris is involved. It’s like I’m talking with friends but I’m not😂

The first part of this podcast was so tense I almost clicked off and I’m someone who looks forward to listening Every week!
Yes! Lizze’s attitude was off the charts lol especially with the scream commentary! Like it’s not that serious it’s a movie relax lol
Yeah I noticed as the weeks go on, the more they bicker and fight and it's kind of annoying. It made me want to click off too.
Bruh, she was awful this week!! She must have something going on.
I don’t know what’s taken me so long but I am obsessed with you two and there’s no going back 😂❤ I’m watching all the older eps too and they’re just great 👏

Peace and love Chris needs a segment
I’ve been struggling with my eating disorder and you guys help so much! I love y’all ❤️
Just what I needed for my midweek slump, some Ryland and Lizze beef with a sprinkle of Chris laughter 😂🤍
Challenge for the next podcast. Lizzie can’t be negative about anything 😂
Ommggg yes! I love her humor but that would be fun to see her try lmao
She’s literally outta control. Eek!!

I love the whole podcast and all of the personalities together!! It always makes me laugh. You guys are such a vibe. I loved the moment today with Chris and Lizzie with the hippos. 😂❤
Your podcasts always come out at the perfect time! Driving to work is so exciting now lol
I can't get enough of you guys
❤❤❤
YASSS, this will get me through cleaning the house ♥️♥️♥️ Lots of love for you from Finland! 🇫🇮
I’ll always love this podcast! Thanks for the new episode
The four of you are going to be amazing parents when the time is right. ❤
Lizzie thinks she's right all the time but is usually wrong. It's hilarious. 😭
Yay hump day! I need some Lizze and Ryland!! Crazy week need their voices
I also threw my back out about 5 weeks ago. Recovery has been so slow and I miss when my body worked lol please share your back healing tips and tricks for the old ladies
I love your sweater Ryland! ❤️
YES I tried to skip ahead too but landed on lizze spoiling the entire thing. She just can't help herself
To throw the entire podcast away over something like that 🥲
Don't want to be spoiled, don't go online
We gave like 3 verb warnings and I put it all over with title cards and the description. We can stop doing any spoilers in the future but I did as much as possible to let everyone skip easily
@@simplymonca I'm explaining why I don't desire it , no one said anything about throwing the podcast away I still like them as individuals.
I love you guys and your advices for people. Lots of love from Chile.
I’ve known since I was little I wanted to be a mama when I was almost 20 I got pregnant and had a miscarriage and we tried a whole year until i finally got pregnant again that year I felt so depressed and hated seeing other people I knew getting pregnant who I knew weren’t trying and I felt like my body was defective my daughter was due on our 5 year anniversary and although I had anxiety something would go wrong I was so happy to finally have my rainbow baby.. she has brought so much joy into my life and I’m so thankful I havnt had any postpartum issues other than body negativity and that I was able to do a water birth how I wanted and that my breastfeeding journey has been so easy for us 💖
Love your teeth Ryland you have such a great and unique smile please never change it
I enjoy this podcast so much!
Lizze's sure getting a roasting in the comments this week, but I really enjoy her rants.
Love you all! ❤❤❤
Motherhood is definitely HARD.
but I agree with what your friends husbands said.
Lizzee you’d be such a good mama😩💜
And your bby won’t turn out like no punk with you as their mommy!
Your life begins when you have babies!!! The love you have for them will be overwhelming and bring you so much joy!
Ryland is very insightful about when you become a parent you no longer have time to focus on things that don't really matter
First time I've been able to sit thru the whole pod, great job!
I love Lizzie, she always keeps it real and makes me laugh the hardest. I can't with these comments.
Speaking as a mother being a mother is the best thing that ever happened to me but it's not easy. Definitely worth it
The first five minutes of banter and intro is always my favorite 😂😂😂
LIZZIE!!! No more spoilers on brand new movies!!!!!!! Omg I was screaming Don’t do it!!!!! And I had to just shut the pod cast off. There was nothing on the screen that said when to return so this one pissed me off lol. ❤
There are title cards that show the exact spoiler times! ❤️
There are title cards that clearly mark when the spoiler segment begins and ends so it easily skipable.
YES IM SO FUCKING MAD. Time cards don’t do shit for not spoiling when it’s a movie that just came out and I’m cleaning the house LISTENING to a podcast not sitting there manually scrolling to see if they’ll be rude enough to spoil it.
Love Chris for the slate message. It saves lives.
Choosing not to have children doesn't keep you locked in a chapter of your life where you don't progress. That is one way of looking at it that might help you if having them isnt something you chose or it's something you regret, though.
I also took a big nap in the middle of that movie and came back and loved the ending!! Thank you two :D 💛🧡💜
Doesn’t matter what my mood is, I always have a great time with you guys. I really really love it, thank you ❤ I was so tired and just meh, but second you started grumping I felt home 😅 and nothing will make me click out of podcast Ryland, don’t worry :))
You always cheer me up thank you for the new episode
Im addicted to this podcast 😍
Best way to start my day. I love you guys so much. And Lizzie if your seeing this, please be nicer to Chris.
I totally agree she is so lucky Chris doesn’t just walk away
@@MoodyvinceALT I was joking. I understand how friends mess around.
Awesome job ryland with podcast thumb up
Fuel your body with whatever makes you feel your best and strongest!
This was such a juicy episode hahaha I love you guys. You seemed so into the convo and having so much fun, really brings my spirits up 😂
I really love this podcast and have watched it since the start but sometimes Lizzie’s negativity and hate of things just ruins it for me 😢
Gurl, same.
Yep she's getting so negative and make Ryland uncomfortable just to be with her 🙄 😕
i feel this, she can come off agressive which then makes ryland have to be agressive back to defend himself. i understand it’s their friendship but i would hate for the way they treat each other when podcasting together to effect their friendship in the long run.
Agree. She’s exhausting
Yes exactly! Have been thinking about that over the last few episodes. I love them both but sometimes she comes off with a nasty attitude.
LMFAO OFC HIS SHIRT SAYS “favorite daughter” SO FITTING.🤣 bet Shane picked out that one to.💀
Movies are supposed to be fun and entertaining and lizzie clearly can’t just watch movies for ‘cause of her career choice. Nothing against her 🤪 And Kevin Williamson is the story writer for Scream and dawson’s creek
I just want to make it known that I will 100% lose my mind if you guys ever stop this podcast. Please never stop lol
Lizzie.. if it makes you feel any better.
Don’t fret what other people say… everyone’s experiences are different.
