8:33 That is because the weight of creatures changes how much damage you get/deal and how much ailments that you get/give to other creatures stack
it's a way to balance out the stats of creatures. Imagine that T3s would have like 100 damage and all T5s would have 500 damage. That would not be balanced as you will never actually deal your exact base damage, but you would rather get/deal higher/lower damage depending what you're fighting against.
So, if all T5s would have 500 damage, there's a chance they will almost one-shot tiers lower than T4, making them unplayable.
However, everything i said cancels out as soon as you say that we have more T5s than T1s. Why.. There's strong creatures everywhere :/
mmm yeah, i just miss when there was a cap to how much damage could be nerfed by weight. it used to lock at half, meaning if it was 1k weight to 60k youd still deal half your base damage, but now its just impossible to fight heavier creatures as lower tiers

It wouldn't be cool if a T1 was able to fight off a T5 (not as if it's not already happening)
In cos you can't always fight what you see so you sometimes have to just run away, which is what the devs probably intended to do when it comes to big stats differences

oh my gosh I agree with the whole fellisio thing, I don’t think you know how much I hate fellisio, it is the most overused, basic designed creature ever they just said “hehe cat” and ran away, they need to make designs that aren’t cats, what about dogs?? how many dog creatures do we have? i hate fellisio so much and everyone who uses it
i will say while hatred for it is warranted, fellisio is a pretty decent design.. just not that unique, so its overuse is pretty annoying. although there definitely is a lack of dog-based creatures and it would be lovely to see more of those! i believe the only really obvious dogs in the game are vetemortem and rukig, but there are lots of diverse breeds that they could add that simply dont have creature designs
As much as I don't like any cat design (especially the two who just came out), I don't think we should hate those who plays it. Everyone isn't the same, so is it for the one who plays these characters. It's sad to hate someone just for their main, or for the creature they are playing.. But I understand why you hate it and ngl I kinda feel the same
