I just realized a moderate plot hole in the movie. At one point, Tesla promised that each member of the winning team would receive "five million [dollars]...in cold hard cash." AND YET, after the final leg of the race, Gig (or however you spell the robot's name) prints each member of the Wave Rippers a CHECK for $5,000,000.
To be fair, it’s a lot easier to write a check for $5 mil that’ll turn into cold hard cash than it is to actually hand out that much. It’s pretty much the same outcome either way. But I see what your point it. Still, that’d be a LOT of printed out paper
