Great runs man! That thing looked really stable! I am impressed! I wish I had an ESC I could run 4s...... maybe one day I am going to try to get mine out tomorrow morning ( have to try to beat the traffic). I really wish I had a road like yours with less traffic! I am doing my 1st 3s run with the Hobbywing 120A ESC and it should hit 97-98 mph but we shall see. I think that is the same front spoiler I am running but mine is trimmed down a lot (the plastic mine was made out of was flexing really badly and scraping so I had to trim it and it seems to provide me just enough downforce. For what it is worth, I am not running any rear wing. I don't want to suggest playing with your setup as it looks great..... but maybe if you are looking for more speed down the road no wing might pick up a few mph.... IDK. I have no doubt you can get than car well over 100 mph at 4s as I have seen a Bandit hit 95 mph on 3s with the stock Velineon ESC and motor! Can't wait to see what you do next!
Thanks!! This road is in an industrial complex, weekends are not too busy or weekdays after 6pm (if I can get out there after work.) I should be able to gear up enough and make 100mph on 4s if the velineon can hold up. ESC is good for 6s, but will be a tight fit with a bandit body. I see most others mention about adding weight up front, with only an aluminum bulkhead upfront and 3d printed aero I'm probably lighter. Sitting at 4 lbs 2oz without a battery currently. I got into this just trying to get faster and faster, so not sure how much past 100MPH I really want to go for as I'm using pretty much all of the available straight section of road. Pushing it on 2s with a high kv motor sounds like a fun challenge though. I have plenty of other RC Projects I want to start sharing on here. Frankenstein 2wd Traxxas mashups ideas and such. One of which will def be more speed run oriented. Good Luck Tomorrow!!! I will be gearing up and making another run as well!!!
@@rjs907 Awesome. Thanks! I agree, the 2s stuff sounds fun.... not nearly as stressful (I find this near 100 mph stuff pretty nerve racking especially as my range isn't great with the stock transmitter). I bet with the right motor you could get it up to close to 90 mph on 2s.... IDK. I look forward to your new videos. I will try to remember to mention your channel when recording my video - you are doing some cool stuff over here!
I’m gonna run the Vxl 3500 on 8s I’m already hitting 62mph on 3s so I can’t wait to see what it’ll do on 8s🤣 my motor is already shot from over heating I have a spare Vxl ready to go so I’m gonna send it I’m also getting a 1717 1650kv motor I’m gonna throw on the slash
Sorry for the late response, the esc is a castle mamba X, Spur gear is a mod 1 34 tooth from hotracing. the pinion I believe is from Tekno and its 23 tooth mod 1. You will need a sleeve adapter if your running a motor with a 3mm output shaft like me.

Hi! Can you please give links to the ESC, spur and pinion you used? I also try to build a speed bandit.

Take the rear wing off guys on bandits for speed runs
whats the relevance of 2s 3s 4s?
Each "s" represents a cell in a lipo battery pack. Each cell adds another 4.2 volts (when fully charged.) More volts = faster, hopefully.
