Next citrus season maybe do a story on the greatest innovation in citrus fruits out of Japan, the shiranui mandarin, aka dekopon. It's the king of citrus fruits imho.
Too bad other parts of the world can't get these oranges...but then again I wouldn't want to pay $100 for one. Maybe Japan by Food need to include sample of Shizuka's marmalade in next Japanese treat box?

my mom used to buy just orange. stockton store used to get only Florida orange. it was organic, sweet and juicy. she said it would make me stay a young . i was a fruit lover and i never say no to any fruits. i wonder how orange compare to other countries.

U can't understand how much better fruits produced in Japan are than in the rest of the world until you've tasted them.
