Okay hear me out- Deku as Sokka from ATLA / Avatar The Last Airbender ship Zukka - Zuko x Sokka lmao reasoning behind this suggestion, Izuku is quirkless, Sokka gets his bending taken away, Izuku could be Sokka and be a combat fighter thing- lol I haven't watched ATLA yet but I've seen a lot of reaction videos to come to the conclusion that this is a good au and that Sokka, Katara and Toph are my favorite characters. So maybe Izuku wasn't born with a quirk and has a sister (Katara) and ig they both were strong benders in the water kingdom (like I said, haven't watched ATLA so idk what it's called) and he got his bending taken away (I think) and the rest in happened in the canon- yeah- lmao I make no sense at all- and he looks like Sokka.? Deku’s past as Kotarou Kashima ~Gauken Babysitters .. This is such a weird suggestion lmao- Wassup im back :> I got sick bc of my covid vaccine and slept all day
Honestly feel like it'd be better if Sokka/Deku was always powerless/quirkless, because it's kind of the point of Sokka as a character that he's just a normal guy in a world with superpowers basically. And his journey throughout the show has him grow into the role of a tactician and fighter who takes his lack of powers into account when he fights and he still comes out on top because of his plans. Also the Southern Water Tribe only has one waterbender and that is Katara, the war kinda killed off the rest, and the others live in the Northern Tribe. So just giving my thoughts on this au.
