Marilyn was a good person who had an impossible life but she always sought to learn and improve- a very admirable quality.

There is no proof whatsoever that Lena Pepitone knew Marylin or worked for Marylin. There are many photographs of Marylin with people that worked for her but there are no known pictures anywhere of Pepitone with Marylin. In fact, there is no proof to back up the various claims that Pepitone makes in her book. I think the book was simply written to cash in on Marylin's name.

The host was a creep as was James Bacon with his invented anecdotes about Marilyn. I love that Oliver Reed eventually interjects to jump to Marilyn's defence, and tell these idiots off for talking about her walking around her house in the nude. Ollie had many faults, but he was above all a gentleman.

I dislike Lena Pepitone alot for the betrayal of marilyn with telling her "secrets" about marilyn and for any lies she has said about marilyn. but it will not stop me uploading a video just because i despise the person in it.

I think Arthur Miller and Joe DiMaggio would know if Pepitone work for Marilyn. They were both alive at the time. I do agree she betrayed Marilyn for money of course.

After Pepitone passed away in 2011, her nephew admitted that she had made up salacious details to sell her book. Noone was interested in hearing about Marilyn's normal day to day activiites.

Oliver would have understood what Marilyn went through so I'm glad he spoke up. Even though their personal circumstances were different they both did experience addiction.

I thought it was sweet and genuine when Oliver interjected to defend Marilyn's dignity, as that dumb host and the equally loathsome James Bacon gossiped about her habit of walking around nude. It was her home, she was entitled to undress as she pleased behind her own front door! "I've done it myself" said Ollie. God bless him - a true English gentleman!

It is funny as I read these comments especially from Sandra and Alex. I will defend Lena as she was a family friend. I remember back in the mid-90´s and the night of my highshool graduation. My parents took me to Lena's place to celebrate. During this time I didn't know much about Lena's affiliation with MM. That night, I remember I just picked her brain. She was laughing then took out an old photo album that was over 40 years old. I saw so many pictures of MM with Lena and her kids. They were very close friends. She was not just her maid. Lena was also her seamstress and helped style MM. I also remember Lena showed me a beautiful dress that she designed for MM. I was pretty amazed. I was 17 and had no idea Lena knew. I just always knew her as Lena. It is also funny that just last year my father nonchalantly told me he hung put with Marilyn and Lena at a small dinner party in 1962 some months before her death. He told me she was very nice but he could tell she had emotional issues. Anyway, below Alex made some comments: "How could MM have all those conversations we read in Pepitone's book(obviously wrote by someone else!)if Pepitone barely sounds understandable in English in1980's?" As a wittness...Lena had a heavy accent but we always spoke in English and she understood everything I said. And when I was a kid I spoke really fast! lol... As I know, she did get help writing her book. What is the problem with that? Most people who don't have experience writing books will get help from professional writers. I don't think her accounts were skewed or anything like that.

Well, she only seemed to say very complimentary things about Marilyn, so I see no reason why she should be criticised for selling her story. I doubt Marilyn would care!

How could MM have all those conversations we read in Pepitone's book(obviously wrote by someone else!)if Pepitone barely sounds understandable in English in1980's?That hideous man says she couldn't act opposite Olivier?Peculiar:Marilyn still lives radiant&powerful&real in that movie, while Olivier looks instead like a stuffed turkey! So dated! They talk about someone who can't answer, she probably didn't even know that stalker Bacon..Pepitone at least tells about her generosity! However what a lie!

Oliver Reed was a vicious queen. And so was Mike Douglas. I feel sorry for those actresses.
Olivier didn`t know how how to behave with Marilyn. She was a better actress than Olivier.
On time? They probably gave her the wrong times and/her.or changed them and didn`t tell her

Starring role in `Ladies of the Chorus` but she wasn`t ready. Her name was above the title. She laid an egg.

This interview is astonishing for its crude vulgarity. Don`t you walk around that way in the house? Probably this old maid of Marilyn`s took exception to the nudity and/or loved to look.
Marilyn loved...she loved alot...her life was engineered.....
