    It was really cool to have been able to check it out in person, plays extremely smooth and has 24 frets, sold.

      Actually planning on talking to them this year at NAMM...won’t happen for a few more years, but I have a feeling that’s an imminent thing too ;)

    I've got a violin finish model...I believe it was made in 02. The magic is in the neck. Love the instrument. Great mid range punch. Acoustic and electric.

    Zane - any help Making it connection? I have 2003 #1 of 50 vintage violin shop finish… a friend” lost my ebony/foam inserts… I’ve contacted who I could at Hofner & others to find a replacement to no avail. Any help?

    Yes, but ... I would have liked it much more hearing you play the guitar instead of talking all the time about it. This is a music instrument, not a book.

    How different are the pickups to the original Hofners, and where is these guitars made?

    So now you are my favorite Hofner players. The jazzica has a very rich acoustic tone. I keep confusing Hofners with Hohners.

      For your confusion in names:Paul (McCartney) playes a Höfner, Prince played a Hohner.
