great man :) stir it up, I use only the D-A-E strings, not the G for the final B.... I hope is ok :)))) but your hand movement is more "compact"... wich means "more aston barrett" :)))

It’s always ok to play bass lines with your own fingering patterns. Just use what suits you best. I tend to try and aim for the least shifts possible.
