This one was for me! We are kindred spirit's in our passion for the wild! I was distracted from this opening, as the wildlife in my care needed me, as it's cold here. But from the opening, the strings with the bird of prey, to the night campfire and the soft piano and strings of your exit, all touched me in a most profound way. I was moved. Did you too feel complete abandon in the quiet isolation, surrounded by, embraced by something so massive, a dangerous beauty that breathes life with every flap of wing or whisper of wind? We can't even begin to touch that feeling, to appreciate it's, vital importance to us as human's, if we don't touch it, smell it, feel it against our skin. Did you feel energized, with a feeling of empowerment, a humility riding the back of pride? To be in the wild is to become the wild, a vital component to tapping into our creative self. That part of us that is driven to see what other's might not, inspires a need to share and for you, this is the music you hear in that wild place of quiet. And you share it with us all! I'm grateful to know you a little better Jo, to understand that place from where your music sings the most. In that quiet place of dangerous beauty. Everything about this piece had such a powerful truth, a genuine offering of what could be. If we'd only listen to that wild heart and break free from the constraints of what other's might be hearing, we'd soar on wings that could take us anywhere! Thank you for this Jo, this format is amazing and it's always a good day when I can see a handsome man! As always, just one of your listening hearts, me!

Thoroughly enjoying your travel diary. The music is so beautiful and mesmerizing. Do you take the trip then interpret your thoughts and feelings into music? If so, I'd be curious to hear your interpretation of hiking the Continental Divide Trail from New Mexico to Canada.
