No, it is not recommended for a person of 65 years of age to Trek to tungnath and chandrashila. It is an arduous trek and physically demanding. Elderly people may not be able to handle the physical stress and altitude of the trek. But.. When tungnath temple opens, there are several options like pony/horse ride and palki which may be helpful for senior citizens. Still it is recommended to consult with a doctor before attempting this Trek.
1) Tungnath Temple is about to close on 7 November 2022. If you are willing to visit tungnath for darshan you should plan before the closing date. 2) If you want to enjoy snowfall and trekking then plan for Tungnath-Chandrashila trip in Mid of December
Actually we visited the temple in may month and we were charged 150/- Rs hence we shared our experience in the video. if it is free it's great for pilgrims.
1) तुंगनाथ ट्रेक के लिए किसी भी मेडिकल सर्टिफिकेट की जरूरत नहीं हे 2) ऊंचाई ज्यादा होने की वजह से ऑक्सीजन की समस्या होती है इस लिए अगर हृदय संबंधी कोई भी बीमारी हो तो इस तरह की ट्रेकिंग ना करें । 3) 10-12 वर्ष से कम उम्र के बच्चो को इस ट्रेक पर ले जाने की सलाह हम नही देंगे ।

आप नवंबर में औली (उत्तराखंड) या सोनमर्ग गुलमर्ग (कश्मीर) का प्लान बना सकते हैं। इसके अलावा धनोल्टी (उत्तराखंड), शिमला, मनाली भी अच्छे ऑप्शन हैं।
