I worked as a hospice nurse before and during the virus fiasco. Healthcare workers can tell you stories that will make you weep. The neglect of patients was barbaric. We are all still a little broken from that experience. Now, the patient population in general is much less polite and cooperative with staff. Many administrations don’t value or respect the bedside care staff and related technical staff. We are expected to do more with less and continue to sacrifice our own health and personal time for the hospital’s “needs”.

I worked as a hospice nurse before and during the virus fiasco. Healthcare workers can tell you stories that will make you weep. The neglect of patients was barbaric. We are all still a little broken from that experience. Now, the patient population in general is much less polite and cooperative with staff. Many administrations don’t value or respect the bedside care staff and related technical staff. We are expected to do more with less and continue to sacrifice our own health and personal time for the hospital’s “needs”.

Funny I worked at Amazon during the pandemic and they bullied the workers the entire time over wearing masks. I always used to argue with the managers because we’d be loading trucks and working the line. The job was very physical and you would get very hot … so wearing a mask while doing that job wasn’t no walk in the park. What a load of BS.

My grandmother died in a facility from covid where they were treating her horribly & the last conversation i had with her was her crying to me of how she was going to die there with them & how badly they were treating her & how we were gonna get her out of there but she tested positive 2 days later * past away 2 days after that. The biggest problem was we could never get ahold of her as every time we would call she would never answer the phone and we would have to call the main number & ask why she never answers & once they went into the room it was always her telling us they move her phone away from her to where she cant reach it & they dont put it back unless we call & well obviously it was too late 😢
