I've done FX props last year and the year before, only passed phase 1 a few times. never got funded. Been trading Futures prop for 3 months now I have passed combines with ease...in 2-3 days. got funded and pay out. Passed 6 combines in 3 months.
That’s just because it forced you to be more disciplined. If you took the same discipline to forex props you’d be better off

If you keep delving into why the props don’t want you to win, you’ll subconsciously develop a sense of being victimized. You’re not. People are making millions off these firms. Pick the ones that best suits you personally and per time and do your due diligence. With time and enough capital you can go do whatever you want with what you’ve earned.

Great vid Kimmel. Love your content. I was #1 on Uprofit last month and top 50 Topstep leaderboard this month. I can tell you a lot of stories. Stay away from MFF. Topstep so far awesome. Got 19k payout within 48 hrs last week. Requesting another 11k tonight. You want end of day draw on trailing like Topstep not like Apex with unrealized trailing. Cheers

you can only withdraw above the buffer level for a expert MFFU account, for a 50k account the buffer is $2100 so you have to make $53100 to withdraw $1000 dollars, and after you withdraw the buffer resets, BRO ITS HELL
no. the withdrawal cap on mffu $50k starter amount is $1200 after 5 days. after $6000 of payouts that restriction drops... there is no buffer for the starter accounts that you have to adhere too. you only have to adhere to a 40% consistency rule with them when funded...
Simple. If you want to be rich don't trade, instead open a Prop Firm.
And now even that will make you broke haha

Good info Kimmel… what’s your overall preference: let’s say good CFD firms (5ers or FTMO) versus good Futures firms (say Topstep) ???
The tradeoff to a 50k account is just that you are starting out less flexible in your drawdown. With futures, you cant size down into infinity like with cfds. The smaller your account size the more likely you are going to be to blow up your account immediately. With a bigger account size you have a better chance still assuming you can control your risk. A smaller size account means the 1 contract minimum in futures automatically increases your risk of failing no matter how good you are. It's still a tighter leash. The smaller account size would only be an advantage if it was cfd style where you can dial back risk more and more to survive while trading a single futures contract doesnt allow you to do that to survive with the smaller account.

They don't, they only have the fact that you can withdraw 50% of the profits
great content however for my funded futures you forgot about the biggest trap wich is the microscalping rule and they only use NQ as an example but lives the door open to dinied a payout with other instruments because for them 5 points in NQ is microscalping but what about ES or CL you have to do more than 20 ticks, is crazy.
Facts. I had to learn through "doing". You can read the rules but when you experience them is when you learn the lesson. Traders once you get the live account. Your next step is to get a buffer of $2k (still not time to withdraw...WAIT) after that you need another buffer *minimum $2k before withdrawal (only a recommendation, should be more) so you don't blow the account ...because you will. If you need money right away...this is not the way. Just like Kimmel said "slow and steady is the only way to keep the account live."

So Futures prop firms are less risky business model, and even though you are less likely to get a payout, you are more likely to make consistent payouts due to the company's higher chance of longevity. Sounds like Futures are only for the most consistent traders.

Just got termination a contract from the5%ers while scaling up from 100K to 125K. My winrate is 70%. Biggest loss per trade is just 1%. I think they dont want me to scale up to gain their money. But it’s fine. Just move to another firm.

It is not clear. They just say that "reviews of your trading activities, we have found that there have been consistent deviations from the established trading rules and guidelines set forth in our agreement.
As adherence to these rules is crucial for the effective and compliant operation of our trading strategies, we have determined that we can no longer continue our cooperation under the current terms. Consequently, we must terminate our contractual relationship with you effective immediately."

Fast track trading is the big dog in town, there is only 1 rule, it's instant funding and NO commissions, also NO monthly or activation fee...it's one time fee (using their 45%-55% discount promos and it's game over for the other props)...please do some research on them, literally not even fair competition when you have rules like this on fast track lol.....
