I used to work out to Evil Ways in '69 when it first came out. I am now 70 yrs old and I love Carlos!!!!
my kids , in their early 20s, don't know Santana music , they don't even try to listen ... I feel sorry for them, they're missing really something, that pulse that keep me at 59 dancing at this incredible vibe

Gregg Roile the best of Santana great vocalist this was charts for long time & Neal schon another great Santana the 1st 3 albums where the best of Santana & many other albums too.love it.
Santana always lacked a dedicated front line vocalist ..as greg walker joined the problem was solved..but the inclusion of alex legetwood took santana vocal strength to the sky..in beyond appearances ..walker and alex shared the song right now...is a real treat to listen to ..rolie is incredible but he had a lot to do with keys..so vocals was somehow compromised.
In 1970 and fort Leonard Wood I dancing front of them I never forget that it's experience of my life they were very young back then I was too enjoyed it this band

I love his combination of blues, rock, and Latin music, and I think his playing is some of the most soulful and expressive ever heard. I'm always up for listening to a Carlos Santana album or watching a live performance. He has a unique blend of blues, Latin, and African influences, and his playing is both technically proficient and emotionally expressive.
All of the old band members fro Woostock '69 were absolutely fantastic and especially Michael Shrieve who really contributed in such a big way .. my hat goes off to him!
