- The ImageMeter Android app lets you annotate dimensions, angles and areas in your images with ease. Simply take a photo and annotate it with the dimensions on your phone or pad. What is special about ImageMeter is that it enables you to measure within the image long after you took the picture. Additionally, with this feature, you can also easily add dimensions for places which are too difficult to reach.

Wow, I have just discovered this app, and installed it on my android device.
I am very impressed, it has saved me valuable time estimating materials.
It works equally well, with a traditional tape measure or the laser distance tool.
The beauty of this tool, is that once we accurately placed the reference grid on the image, we only needed to measure and enter two dimensions.
From this we have been able to accurately estimate other dimensions in the image.
We mainly use this for estimating, and double check all critical dimensions.
Measure twice, cut once!
This app asks you to input YOUR OWN measurements. This app draws lines and grids with little question marks, no measurements appear. And there is no FAQ or written instructions! I have tried every option, I have dragged lines everywhere on the image, if I had a tape measure I would not need this app!!
But thats not how this work. It cant determine scale. You do
Are you kidding me? It only measures a percentage of the total area if you input the total area available. This is rediculous.

so does it actually measure images or do you physically have to measure then write in manually
You have three options:
- enter the values manually,
- connect to a Bluetooth laser distance meter, or
- provide a reference rectangle of known size to automatically measure on the plane of the reference rectangle.
Automatically measuring without reference in an image is mathematically impossible. Some kind of scale always has to be provided.

Dear Dirk, can this be automated? I need to do multiple measurements : take repeated digital pictures and take measurement and store dimensions in a library file.

Не хватает только фиксации команды, чтобы не нажимать 2 раза на экран для установки размерной стрелки.
перемещение можно сделать при двойном касании (2 пальца по экрану), тогда не будут случайно ставиться стрелки.

is there a way to do arches rather than full circles
You can double-click on a segment of the circle to remove it. Then you have an arc. But it may not be exactly what you want because it looks more like a circle sector than a line arc. Sounds like something to add in the future.

What does mean License: Business...Is that PRO???
There is both. The Pro license is a perpetual upgrade with the functions used most frequently. The Business version is a subscription with additional functions for professional business use.

The app is also translated to Spanish. If your phone is set to Spanish, it will also show its texts in Spanish.

@@compritascompritas2282 Long press on the image, then select the "share" icon on the top toolbar. Or just choose the "share" item from the menu at the right side of the image.
how to export to jpeg ?
Long-press on the image in the list. The icons in the toolbar will change. Then select the export icon.
You can also long-press on a folder to export all images in the folder at once.
