Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson are excellent examples of the poor educational level in the USA. The people that follow these guys, have been conditioned to not question, and they have no concept of Objective Research on a topic.
I could listen to these 2 talk to each other about almost anything all day but especially religion, science or politics! I would love to get lost in an hours long conversation with them!
Joe Rogan has the most popular podcast in the world which means millions of people will and have listened to that and believe Tucker that there is no evidence for Evolution especially since Joe barely says anything to refute it!
I like how Tucker brings in spirit into the discussion and immediately goes "whatever that is". I don't know, you tell me what the word you just used means.
Joe Rogan makes it seem like Tucker has a point when he lets him spout his stupid Creationist nonsense without saying anything against it or asking him questions about Evolution in such a dumbed down way!
"There's no evidence of X." It's always funny to me when a Christian says this about *anything* considering that evidence is not important to them at all when believing in their bronze age fairy tales, but sure, there's no evidence of evolution or UFOs and I should take Tucker Carlson's word for it.
I like how Tucker claims there's no evidence that aliens came from space with its vast infinite expansion of places to hide but instead somehow believes that the UFOs have been hiding for thousands of years underground or in our oceans, yet makes no effort to point out any evidence for the claim.
A common misconception that a theory will eventually upgrade to a law once “proven”. each has its own specific independent definition. As an ex-science teacher, it drives me crazy
@donfullman8696 When the "moderator" helps one of the participants dogpile on the other, it's not a debate. It was Dr. Flint Dibble beating the crap out of a 2-on-1 with evidence.
Tucker Carlson's voice is literally causing me to cringe internally. To act so certain of something he knows absolutely nothing about and had never observed in real life.
I allmost agree with T.Carlson about this statement: "We understand way less now than before" ... yeah, just make one change to that statement. "You, T.Carlson and your kind understands way less now than they did centuries ago"
I tend to be less critical of Joe Rogan than most. But him not completely jumping all over Tucker Carlson when he actually uttered the words....."That is why evolution is still only a theory 200 years later." Joe lost serious points with me for remaining silent after that. That is unforgivable. This is because there are few beliefs easier to blow to pieces than that one right there. Why wouldn't Joe stop Tucker right there and correct him? Joe can have his guy pull up the definition of a scientific theory and have plastered right there in front of Tucker and then have Tucker read it and then have him admit that what he said was massively incorrect. And until he admits that, the interview would go NO FURTHER. Joe Rogan should've said .........."Tucker, you have said many things today that I most definitely disagree with. I believe you are wrong about many of your beliefs and there is evidence that backs that up. But I have let most of it slide. I don't want to spend the whole show correcting the mistakes my guest is making. However I must insist that you get this one right. Because it is a all to common mistake made by anti-evolutionists, who then propagate this ignorance to others. And it needs to stop. Here is the definition of a Scientific Theory. Read it, understand it. And then I must again insist that you admit to your listeners, that you have been wrong. You must do this before we can move on with the show. It is that important to me."
@@Notalloldpeople I'm not sure why you believe these are related. Is it not possible to be a credible thinker, while at the same time, being a weak host of a talk show, because he refuses to confront his guest on their BS? One thing that I like about Joe Rogan is that he isn't usually close minded. Now I have no doubt someone could find an example of him being close minded, but I'm talking in general. The problem is that this open mindedness is both his strength and weakness. As Joe will occasionally be open minded to things that don't merit such a thing.

Regarding the SR-71, it isn't that it was undetectable. Rather, it was unreachable by Soviet weapons. It became obsolete when the Soviets developed weapons that could reach it, catch it, and shoot it out of the sky. It's been replaced by satellites. Nothing mysterious about any of this.
Yeah spy planes haven't really been used that much. That is changing however. Satellites do have a lot of limitations so by reporting, it seems there are two projects underway that use hybrid SCRAM jet/RAM jet engines that allow the planes to fly well over MACH 5. There is one from Lockheed Martin (the original maker of the SR-71) and another from a new aircraft maker that I can't remember the name of at the moment.

You listen to a guy like Tucker Carlson who had every advantage in life and doesn't understand the theory of evolution. What hope is there for the people that think he's smart? Are we ever going to convince them of what is otherwise consensual reality? Whether it's politics or basic science, it's getting harder to reach the people that we disagree with because the gap has become a chasm and it's the rare person who wakes up to the fact that everything they thought about our place in the universe is wrong. There was a Trump lover who was a big Tucker fan. And sometimes I worked with this guy and man it was freaking hell when he had get on a stupid streak. He thought the vaccines were killing people at rates that far exceeded COVID deaths. The wacky shit he believed was just about everything that he believed.
Aron is wrong about the SR-71 public unveiling. The SR-71 was introduced to the public in 1964. I remember building a model of it before the 1970's. He might have confused it with the F-117, which wasn't publicly revealed until 1988.

The short answer is that they resent what the facts are and want them to be different, and people like that feed their fantasy of "just knowing" more than the people who put in effort.
The question is why would you think anybody does. It's almost as if this was simply 5 minutes of open casual conversation between pals during a 3 hour conversation, and wasn't meant to be used as an educational video or lesson in science... It's so bizarre that people like Aron Ra and this little shit weasel would waste their time making an hour long video in response to this. It's like they can't refute any actual intellectuals in this area, so they have to cherry pick the lowest hanging fruit they can find, which is a short clip taken out of context from the Joe Rogan Experience... Really showing them, I tell you what...
@@BaronVonQuiply That seems like an awful lot of projection... Exactly what "facts" do they resent and why? Sounds to me like you might be the only one resenting any "facts." Only Atheists and Evolutionists get this butthurt at dissenting opinions.

Joe Rogan has the most popular podcast in the world which means millions of people will and have listened to that and believe Tucker that there is no evidence for Evolution especially since Joe barely says anything to refute it!

Joe Rogan makes it seem like Tucker has a point when he lets him spout his stupid Creationist nonsense without saying anything against it or asking him questions about Evolution in such a dumbed down way!
"There's no evidence of X."
It's always funny to me when a Christian says this about *anything* considering that evidence is not important to them at all when believing in their bronze age fairy tales, but sure, there's no evidence of evolution or UFOs and I should take Tucker Carlson's word for it.
Oh boy, made my day to see Aron and Seth! 👍💙💙💙🥰✌
I like how Tucker claims there's no evidence that aliens came from space with its vast infinite expansion of places to hide but instead somehow believes that the UFOs have been hiding for thousands of years underground or in our oceans, yet makes no effort to point out any evidence for the claim.

Tucker proves that you can lead a Fox Host to a library, but you can not make them think.
Totally agree, great take.
"Better to remain silent and be thought an idiot than to speak and be proven one"

You’ve picked on one example of JR not calling out BS. In reality there are dozens of examples and hence why JR has no credibility as a thinker.
The Biddhist/hotdog joke is incomplete. After the Buddhist receives his hot dog "with the lot" he hands the hot dog vendor a 50 dollar bill. But the Buddhist would never have a $50 note.
