Fun fact: there’s a rival mechanic in the game that makes certain characters go faster, have sharper turning, and even teleport inches behind you depending on how far away you are from them. They also get aimbot if you hit them too much with shells
If these people get angry here, imagine the pain they'd have in Mario Kart Wii
they'll probably rage quit cause of the high probably of more than 3 Blue Shells in a race.

@@apagan0075 Mainly the online part. Getting three stars was less so difficult and more so tedious, especially for someone who had already done so in the original MK8 back in the Wii U era.
Unless this is Wii you're talking about in which case I still haven't gotten all three stars on every cup, because it's practically impossible due to a wide variety of wildly unpredictable variables such as how fast you cleared a course and how few items you were hit by and so on and so forth. Online was pretty fun though. That's all I can really say about it.

Mario Kart would never be Mario Kart without a good dose of salt. Whether it's getting hit with a blue shell while in 1st and about to finish on the last lap (that still triggers me lol) or being bombarded with items we've all been there I'm sure.
It's enjoyable to watch because what happened to them has happened to us at least once, making it relatable.
It's always a treat to see people get dunked on by Mario Kart's RNG. Sometimes, the Mario Kart gods giveth and taketh away with all equal under its judgement.
Mario Kart brings out what I call the "I just wanna talk" type of gamer rage.
Also, while a fair number of these were karma or BM, that erobb one was genuinely kind of painful to see. Poor guy did nothing wrong, he just got screwed at the absolute worst time in the only way he could possibly have been screwed over. Unbelievable levels of Mario Kart Luck on display.
