From Thailand, not a psychologist, just came by. It's a wonderful lecture, speaking speed gives time for the listener to understand . The content is explained very clear. Thank you.

After High School, I want to get into Psychology in University and I am so bad at Math. I am worried about not getting into a good University to study Psychology. I am going to finish High School in less than a year (if I pass Year 12) and I am still very bad at Math. I want it to be a career and I do not have the qualities to be a Psychologist at all.

Trust me, a lot of psychology is not about math. There are a so many different career paths in psychology where math will come up very little in your job (do not pursue a research psychology career or an i/o psychology career - stick to clinical/therapy/counseling). It is important to know how to read research papers and understand how to write them, which will call on you to understand math to a certain extent, but you do not need to be an expert. I absolutely dislike math and statistics and I am a psychology major. Get someone to help you with this when you encounter problems, like a tutor or a friend, and you'll be fine. If you like psychology and have a passion for the subject, you'll do just fine. We all have weak points. Best of luck!

It’s a soft-science at best based. Start by frontloading Beh Health Stats in your studies. If that class doesn’t wake you up to the fickle ways of the industry, then maybe it is for you.
