The only real way I can see Medic working as a character is if the whole character would like a 5 in one character with Scout, Soldier, Pyro, Heavy, and Medic, and when you have Medic out you can heal yourself to heal the rest of the party and it fills up a little meter, when its full you can uber one of your other classes and when you switch to that class they will come out ubercharged

I’m honestly puzzled why TF2 isn’t in smash at all, even as spirts at least it’s still insanely popular after all these years and prolly will be for a LONG time. The characters are so memorable and unique and meme worthy.

What if the Medic were an assist trophy? Here's how he would work: He will first heal the fighter who summoned him then after 4 seconds, he will activate ubercharge. The fighter will be rendered Invincible for 5 seconds. Then after the ubercharge has been drained, he will disappear.
Medic has all the makings of a perfect Assist Trophy. Have him pop on the field and heal you. Keep him protected for enough time, and you're rewarded with uber.
Reveal trailer concept: Dr. Mario is working on healing an injured Luigi. But, since nothing is working, he goes into a phone booth (because TF2 takes place in the 60s) to call for help. The van seen at the start of expiration date drives into wherever Mario is, and Medic steps out of it. He uses his Medigun on Luigi, and then the smash card appears: "MEDIC! HURTS FOR THE REWARD!"
Medic would actually be a really interesting character to play as. We don't really have anyone on the roster capable of healing themselves or others in a significant way.

The perfect reveal would be Bowser fighting mario, the usual, then mario uses his final smash with a huge fireball. The cloud of dust and smoke settles, and an Übercharged bowser walks out of it with the medic.

And the thing when he walk in would be "Medic! Heals the bruises of defeat"
