Be back
In Jamaica to show more other authentic side of jamaica don't worry my fellow Jamaicans
This family needs some help building their home and getting some furniture for the children regardless of the fact that they are from Venezuelan seeking refuge in our land.
Siparia and Arima are the two most Indigenous areas of Trinidad. Those are the areas you should have gone to see the indigenous peoples.
@@anniemc2968 don't forget Paramin
It's annoying these bloggers not giving right information
@@thevideoof8795 the Trini guy showing him around seems to be totally clueless about Trinidad. Im not even sure if he is 100% up there.
@@3kneeboi I don't think so, too much obeah with the 'chief'.
@@3kneeboi dude showing them around just want attention . even tho they are indigenous they are indigenous to Venezuela . the indigenous community here would have been nice :(
These people are not indigenous to T&T.
These are venezuelans hiding from Maduro. However, we did have indigenous natives from Venezuela (Warao) and other natives from other south american countries who have been visiting, living, shopping, selling wares for hundred of years.
Where and how do you think the name 'Indian Walk' came about?
My own grand mother in law came from Venezuela and settled in Moruga. She was part native part spanish and her husband, the same, made the same drinks with snakes.
They used those drinks for all kind of illnesses. He was the spanish Papaneeza.
Please keep in mind that the Trinidad land mass was part of the south american continent millions of years ago.
"Papaneeza" from Moruga Road, Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 was a Merikin and such descendants!!! From the USA 🇺🇸 the British/American War of 1812 and the 6 companies that were sent to Trinidad 🇹🇹 etc.etc.👏 🙏 Peace ✌ Blessings 😇 Prayers 🙏 ✨ 🙌 ❤ ♥
I just want to clarify something about the Indigenous warao.
First just because they are warao does not mean they are illegal I dont know for sure in this case but a lot of them a working with the livingwater foundation to become legal citezens
Second warao are native to trinidad too. Back then there where no borders and there was also a warao pupulation here in Trinidad that mixes with the other tribes. The south of trinidad is very close to Venezuela where most of them live.
Man these are normal people you not hunting them. They are immigrants from south America not indigenous to T&T.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
illegally Venezuela from Venezuela get your facts right
Illegal or not, does not mean they are not indigenous and he did not find them. I hope you are Trinidadian and if so, you should know Trinidad has villages of those peoples. I say people because they are of different tribes. Even though, I hate to use the last word.
Lol you clearly need to get the definition of indigenous right... by your understanding, every venezuelan in trinidad is indigenous to trinidad...
@@Gt92279 I hope you are NOT talking to me, because every Venezuelan is NOT of the same race and therefore, NOT all of them would be Indigenous to this region.
@@Gt92279 I was speaking about the indigenous peoples, who trace their roots in the Americas and the last time I checked, T&T were islands in the Americas, so yes, T&T is also their homeland.
@@anniemc2968 i have the same sentiments.. thats why i was saying the title and information in the video was grossly misrepresented
The indigenous people from Trinidad are the Caribs. You have to head up east to find those folks. Those people in your video are poor immigrants from Venezuela. I hope those little children ate getting help from our local govt authorities. They need medicines and schooling.
most kalinagos are heavily integrated into other races so it will be very difficult, almost impossible to find a pure kalinago in TT. hadda head to Guyana or dominica for that
I am an Arimian Carib descendant but I know and acknowledge the native indigenous people from Moruga.
It's like I'm watching a you got punked video lol
Who is your tour guide,,,he knows nothing,,,pure ignorance
@@raswayne332 They are all opportunist looking for fame and they don't care about the misinformation they spread
Everybody from T&T and beyond knows T&T has different groups of indigenous peoples.
very interesting video as always big up blackman da traveller
Much appreciated
The children need some help. They should be in school. Regardless they're in the country. Social services should have a look. We're all human beings. We all need help one time or another. Do not judge. They need help. 🙌 BLESSINGS
They are in school
Oh my did not know social services was in Trinidad. As long as they leave the children with their parents.
These are Venezuelans.
They're not indigenous people
Get the facts. TRINIDAD had CARIBS,& ARAWAKS. Dont say untrue things. They're from Venezuela. Orinoco or somewhere
they are indigenous from Venezuela . the dude showing him around is kinda strange , he said he will be back for carnival so hopefully he checks out the local indigenous comm.
I was hoping you would ask them about their indigenous languages and have them speak some of it on camera
😂😂😂
You foreigners must get your facts straight,
IF THE SO CALL KING OF MORUGA ORGANISE A BETTER STRUCTURE FOR THESE PEOPLE TO LIVE SHAME ON HIM BIG FRAUD
That family looks like they are running away from the hard life in venezula. Now 2 things can happen ,more people running away from venezula ,might come and settle here or the authuorities may crack down on them for arriving in the country illegally ,before it gets out of hand ,and the children authorities may take the babies away from them. Some times it's better to leave well alone.
Exactly, that's why these you tubers exposing everything, these people hiding away and now they may be spilt up from their family.
Why you deliberately saying things contrary to what the man telling you blackman?
That's the aim to make our country look bad somehow
Its aloo not aloe.
That fried aloo is home fries in the US, Trinidad fried aloo is much better than the US home fries, not French fries ok, home fries, and let me tell you something, the natives of Trinidad were Caribs and Awarcak, 99/9%die out, this guy maybe came from Taucpica off the Orinoco River, I been there in the 1970, I had a girlfriend back in the day she had Carib blood, in her blood line Lopinot, watching from NYC
Is this a joke?
Aloo not alo

They are indigenous people nevertheless.

Indigineous people? Hahaha
Trinidadian witching from the UK, jokes, your host did not study his history well, Caribbean country is arima, lopino
Community notes are need badly on yt...
SHOW HOW ENGLAND TREAT BLACK THE TRUTH
Moruga does have indigenous I heard, but these were not. Of course they came over recently. The indigenous people are still around but they are called Kalinagoes aka Caribs. Arawaks only could have made it to Trinidad as a kidnapped woman after Kalinagoes raided the Northern islands like Hispaniola. Arima, Santa Rosa is where you will find most indigenous descendants.
As salaamu alaikom brother. Hope you are in good health. Statements like “ancestors continue to protect us” and such are statements of shirk. May Allah guide us
Big Facts 🇹🇹😡
Immigrants from Venezuela, not even here years
Wow the best thing u could have done is donate some money for allowing you into their home in such for them is there temple . Smh 🤦♂️
Did you guys just meet some illegal Venezuelans. Our indigenous people are caribs, in Arima etc
Those are Venezuelans
You could have bless the poor family some money that would have been a good gesture but I now remember your broke yourself to have everybody paying for your food etc 😂😂😅
Love to the secondary school of Moruga keep the culture alive every talk about illegal venezuelan my grandma came from Venezuela and grandfather from Grenada so jus stop the BS it's senseless Trinidad had Caribs and Arawaks Africans Chinese syrians etc one love
Yes but now they are exposed and the government knows where to pick them up.. sadly
Stop making trinidad look bad,,,that is not oil and pitch from same hole
We make ourselves look bad.UA-camrs go all over the world
Those are illegal Venezuelans. There are too many living in trinidad and tobago
Indigenous? 🤔 I live in Moruga, and the majority of my ancestors came from Venezuela. They weren't the first people to inhabit those lands. That man is crazy! From Indian Walk to Moruga, those lands were uninhabited until African slaves, also known as the indigenous people, inhabited them. And yes, "slave" is synonymous with "indigenous." Who do you think were the people fighting against the British during the age of pirates, protecting their lands? They were Africans, and I know that pisses a lot of people off. Don't try to claim a history that has nothing to do with you or your people, you weirdos.
What do u mean the govt must help the ppl u say that in Britain about the govt helping those millions of ppl in poverty u got ppl in Britain living on 30pds a mth.there is major poverty in Britain we don’t have that situation here bro
Yes poverty in Britain is worse than Trinidad for sure
