Love this! After following your $10 game collection series, I've been stoping at every Goodwill I see. Finally paid off for me today as a found NES with two controllers but no cables for $7.95 today! Brought it home, used my power adapter from my personal console and works! Even got a bonus game, Defenders II..
Gotta go with Scooby-Doo as my favorite cartoon from the 90s. Saturday morning from 6am-11am was such a great time and something my brother and I looked forward to each week.
Dexter’s Laboratory was my favorite 90s cartoon. I loved how he was so smart, yet still had a very child like way of thinking. It created some very interesting episodes.
That red Gargoyles is probably a complete repro job. There are a lot of repro Genesis games done in those red cases. They're usually fan translated Megadrive games though. I have a few myself.
I wasn’t allowed to watch dark or overly violent TV shows when I was a kid. However, when at my friend’s house, I loved watching Batman The Animated Series. Mark Hamill is in my top 3 favorite Jokers. Also played the heck out of Disney’s Extreme Skate Adventure. Like the Tony Hawk games, but for kids. Again, my parents monitored the games I played too (perks of being a church kid) so I wasn’t allowed to play any games with blood. Anyway, good haul today!!
Found a complete in box Talkboy on Facebook Marketplace last week Rick for $10! Thank you for your intro and letting me know about it! Super stoked about it!
Oh man, I'm going to feel for you when all of your Goodwills make the switch to sending the good stuff to their auction website. Mine did many years ago and I literally never find games any more. It's a total bummer.
The hunt is definitely the fun part it is kind of exciting seeing the sold notification from eBay I've only been hunting like this for the last two weeks and already have some great finds and a good start to my collection
I only found your channel recently but it’s really cool! I’ve even already been using some of your ideas about flipping stuff. I found a TI84 and Zelda Four Swords last week and traded them for some stuff a couple days ago. And I’m starting to pickup how to find the dvds too, I found Gunther and the Paper Brigade yesterday for $2, which sells for $20-25, it was even still sealed! Thanks! Can’t wait to see what else you’ll find too!
Solid picks and cool to see Doug getting some love. If that show was in another decade it would be more well known because it was a good show. But the 90's were stacked with so many top quality cartoons.
My favourite show of the 90s was Xmen, I loved that cartoon. I also loved animals of farthing wood (a British show) about animals trying to escape from their old wood, which was being turned into a housing estate or something. Anyway its kind of depressing animals die on the way or they get injured but I loved it, lol I used to run home from school to watch this.
Man I loved Gargoyles as a kid! I also loved swat cats and the mighty ducks animated show. But my all time fav is Thundercats from the 80s. Best action figure toy line and show ever created
Great video Rick. There's also a Gremlins Gizmo game on the Nintendo DS. I bought them both for my Wife as she loves Gizmo. You get to take care of Gizmo and other Mogwai and have to protect them from the Gremlins. They were interesting games. There's also a side scrolling Gremlins that was released on the Game Boy advance.
I was so mad this week I found a PS2 half-life and when I opened it up nothing in there. My favorite cartoon from the 90s Johnny bravo. The guy is hilarious and I still have my figure of him in my game room. That gargoyle Genesis game looks awesome. Definitely want to get pick it up didn't even know that was a thing. I've heard gargoyle is a great series and I've been really meaning to check it out.
OMG I absolutely LOVED House Arrest! Me and my brother watched it over and over and I had actually forgotten about it so thank u for that! Do u remember Angels In The Outfield? That was a good baseball one, oh and that Sinbad one where he's the little kids bodyguard... First Kid! That was a good one too, thanks again for the nostalgia. 💜😉 90s cartoon Bébé's Kids 🙃
Hey RetroRick just wanted to thank you for your tips on hunting. I am not caught up with all your videos I just started watching your $10 collection series, I'm on episode 18 and I've been learning and picking up your tips. Just used your latest tip "ask for games" and I was buying 10 GC games for $60 and I asked the guy if he had any other retro items like Gameboy, playstation, sega and he sent me a picture of a GameCube with wires and controller and sold it to me for $20 plus he threw a few loose discs he found on top of it. Appreciate your tips and I hope to get through all your videos so I can catch up.
I like Gargoyles. Though, I didn't actually watch it until my sophomore year of high school (2012). The show I grew up with as a kid and watched multiple times was Spider-Man: The Animated Series. I even started to casually watch it again last month.
It's funny how like 8 years ago people on here and on forums talking about how their area has dried up, while I was swimming in scores. Well, now my area has dried up. Though I wouldn't be buying the stuff you did, it'd just be nice to actually see games again on the shelves.
Love this! After following your $10 game collection series, I've been stoping at every Goodwill I see. Finally paid off for me today as a found NES with two controllers but no cables for $7.95 today! Gotta go with Scooby-Doo as my favorite cartoon from the 90s. Saturday morning from 6am-11am was such a great time and something my brother and I looked forward to each week.
And to think a little over a year later, he would own that game store. Crazy how life turns out
My guy just broke Scott the Woz’s heart when he passed on the Madden 08
It wasn't on the gba
I wouldn't be surprised if the whole Madden 08 series of games went up in value just because of Scott. lol
@raine happy I know the Gamecube one shot up in value
Dexter’s Laboratory was my favorite 90s cartoon. I loved how he was so smart, yet still had a very child like way of thinking. It created some very interesting episodes.
The red Gargoyles box is custom made. Gargoyles only came in a cardboard box. Love that show and the game was killer too.
Yeah the later ones were all in those red cardboard boxes.
I love this series. You've given me a year's worth of entertainment. Please never let this series end.
That red Gargoyles is probably a complete repro job. There are a lot of repro Genesis games done in those red cases. They're usually fan translated Megadrive games though. I have a few myself.
Gargoyles was bad ass! I'd say Recess was my favourite 90s cartoon!
Courage the cowardly dog and Rocko’s modern life were my favorite 90s shows I love the art style from that era! Oh yeah and ren and stimpy!
Shout to the Rocko's Modern Life and if you don't have it I got the box set over the holidays for under 20 on Amazon sealed can't beat that
Edd, Ed, and Eddy is my favorite 90s cartoon.
Such a great cartoon!
My favourite 90s cartoon was Tmnt and Batman the animated series. Doesn’t get any better
I was a big fan of the mask cartoon & Bobby’s world . Honorable mention life with Louie .
The Rugrats. Hands down. I grew up watching it with my cousins all the time. Such a classic.
Legit cartoon
Love that one and loved the Search For Reptar on PS1 as well.
There is way to many 90's cartoons to say favorite. So I'm gonna say Ed,Edd,Eddy and Darkwing Duck. Love them so much I have them dvd.
Found a complete in box Talkboy on Facebook Marketplace last week Rick for $10! Thank you for your intro and letting me know about it! Super stoked about it!
"Rosinbagger!!!" I freaking love that movie, though I'm a Cubs fan so there's a little bias there...
Oh man, I'm going to feel for you when all of your Goodwills make the switch to sending the good stuff to their auction website. Mine did many years ago and I literally never find games any more. It's a total bummer.
Mine just started in the last few months, and it seems to be regional
I’m getting really excited about the remakes for Pokémon Diamond and Pearl coming out later on this year!
My favourite cartoon from the 90's has got to be Rugrats
Word!!
There coming out with a reboot of the rugrats
@@Hendogg415 very cool!!
The hunt is definitely the fun part it is kind of exciting seeing the sold notification from eBay I've only been hunting like this for the last two weeks and already have some great finds and a good start to my collection
Gargoyles was a fav, but Batman: The Animated Series would be my number 1...
I absolutely loved Gargoyles! I also loved the Spider Man cartoon, X-Men, Darkwing Duck, Animaniacs. It was just a great time growing up in the 90s!

Dude, I'm William Booths great great granddaughter. Thank you for supporting the Salvation Army.
Really enjoyed this video, very well done. Great Finds!
Thanks homie!
That's a tough question. Gargoyles was good, but either Doug or Rugrats was probably my favorite
Solid picks and cool to see Doug getting some love. If that show was in another decade it would be more well known because it was a good show. But the 90's were stacked with so many top quality cartoons.
Rick, thanks so much for making videos. I look forward to watching them every day. I discovered you through Gaming off the Grid. You rock!
Ducktales. Favorite 90s cartoon. I still know all the words to the theme song.
I loved Recess!! That was a great TV show, and then a cool movie 👍
Darkwing Duck was my favorite and now I can watch it on Disney+ 🤩
My favourite show of the 90s was Xmen, I loved that cartoon. Great video Rick. There's also a Gremlins Gizmo game on the Nintendo DS. I bought them both for my Wife as she loves Gizmo. Dude Earthworm Jim and Duckula were some of the coolest shows I think I’ve watch also The real ghostbusters was a favorite of mine
Favorite 90’s cartoon, that’s tough so many options, I think I will go with the X-men cartoon if I had to pick just one.
You’re killing it out there. Bad luck on the cracked disc, but like what you said, it was still worth it for the case and manual.
My favorite cartoon from back in the day would have to be Ducktales, from Gizmo Duck to the Beagle boys, loved that show
Mx vs Atv Alive is a great game. “Reflex” is the crown jewel of the series though. Great video as usual retro!
This has fast become my favourite series on YT. Glad to have found ya RR :D
I have noticed many goodwill accounts on eBay selling a lot of games and systems.
Pathetic.
Man I was a HUGE Gargoyles fan. Had the action figures also.
Best UA-cam ad ever I clicked on the free Nintendo switch games on an add and got addicted
What a compliment! I’m so glad you are enjoying the channel!
Just found 4 vhs’s of The adventures of Batman and Robin the other day for 99 cents each, one of the best slept on 90’s cartoons.
Man house arrest is one of my favorite movies remember watching it as a kid
Pretty sure it's on disney +.
Omg!!! That Elvis insert was funny as hell 😂
Toss up between Darkwing Duck and Hey Arnold. We definitely grew up in the best decade for cartoons.
I was curious but how did you do the intro when the guy says “RETRO”
I had such a big crush on Jennifer Love Hewitt after watching that movie
Hey Arnold Will Be my Favorite Cartoon for the rest Of my Life.
The Uncanny Xmen, Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly dog were just a few of my favs
Batman was the best 90s after-school animation by far
Gargoyles was always a fever dream for me. I'd wake up in the middle of the night and it'd be on
I had Extreme Skate Disney for GameCube! It’s Awesome game, so much fun!
I was so mad this week I found a PS2 half-life and when I opened it up nothing in there. My favorite cartoon from the 90s Johnny bravo. I really thought you were gonna get snubbed again by that NCAA 14 box lol Super exciting that it was in there.
“And let us pray together” -priests voice 😆
I need Powerpuff Girls for my N64 set I'm using my end labels as a spreadsheet to keep track of ones I have and still need
OMG I absolutely LOVED House Arrest! Me and my brother watched it over and over and I had actually forgotten about it so thank u for that! Do u remember Angels In The Outfield? My favorite 90's cartoon is the original Pokémon anime.
I got a bunch of the VHS tapes. Some came with mini comics of the manga series that Nintendo refuses to rerelease.
Be on the lookout for gamecube component cable, sells for $100 or more
The game store is called "Game Point" in Conway, AR if anyone wants to visit. Cool store!

Rookie of the year was directed by Daniel Stern that’s mind blowing.
Childhood favorite cartoon was Doug.
That sucks about the NCAA 14 Disc my favorite 90s Cartoon Ninja Turtles 🐢
Thanks for the gameplay footage Rick👊!
If I had to pick just one from the 90’s it would probably be x-men. Love the channel.
I got most of the tapes for that too. Great cartoon!
Favorite cartoon in the 90's was and will always be duck tales, I had the theme song as my answering machine message for a long time
Duck Tales was the best. The theme song was catchy too!!!
I like Gargoyles. Though, I didn't actually watch it until my sophomore year of high school (2012). The show I grew up with as a kid and watched multiple times was Spider-Man: The Animated Series. I even started to casually watch it again last month.
Spongebob counts as a 90s cartoon
Just barely.
It's funny how like 8 years ago people on here and on forums talking about how their area has dried up, while I was swimming in scores. Well, now my area has dried up. Though I wouldn't be buying the stuff you did, it'd just be nice to actually see games again on the shelves.
Extreme skate adventure is really fun! Great pickups
Man Congrats on 50k you’re going real fast!!
There were a lot of good series in the 90’s. 2 of my favorites were SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron and the Mighty Ducks
