Some people, doctors, are really honest, not bribed. It gives us hope for the human kind. Congratulations John and all other good people. Enjoy your life, John, you deserve it
✨a brief yet beautiful story! It's a rare grace when a person genuinely helps another withOUT any obligation or personal benefit… purely out of real caring-or gratitude as well. This story artfully brings all that to life. 💖Thank-you-dear Narrator; your efforts and lovely voice truly add to the enjoyment of the story.
@meekawolff...💡Your words ring true. I never thought of it that way, yet it seems to fit, especially when I think of actual people I've known or learned about. Many people confuse being "nice" with being kind and having a genuinely caring heart. "Nice" is Not the same as the second two: they are the real deal, unlike the former… which might have depth, or might just be a polite facade. Hard part-and the challenge to each of us-is that genuine kindness and caring often takes one outside the box and even may require sacrifice or risk for the good of another.
Wow! This touched me. It also reminded me because I have put a few of my memories to rest. Or, as I say; I put my ghosts in the closet. I cannot remember the year but quite some time ago our granddaughter, 15 months old, was in critical condition, in ICU, and needed to be flown to a higher quality hospital in Macon. Before loading her on the helicopter my wife asked whether I was going or not. At that point in time I was absolutely sure Sydney would be okay so I went home. A couple of hours later my wife called and said they had lost Sydney on the flight. I was stunned by the news. I felt sorry for for both not being there and I knew my wife needed my support. I was both a paramedic and registered nurse at the time. How could I have been so wrong? I still puzzle over this question today. The best answer I have been able to work out is that God has a reason for everything. Maybe I will find out when I stand before Him. At any rate; this reminded me of that day and the many others that followed. Strangely I feel better for having heard this story. Thank you for posting. Stay well, and be safe. George

@@chriskozik2573 When you possess a genuinely caring heart helping those in need is never considered a risk nor a sacrifice but a natural reaction.

Love the story even if the title was not correct. He got her out of the car before it went into the water. A wonderful story.

Wonderful well told stories as always from Marcia Parris Robinson 💯🌈

Still reading the story, yet the next stories popped up on it!
Horrible story , woman with no compassion
The daftest words in the world came from a midwife. She told me not to push. As if theres a choice on the finall run.
Is Marcia the wife of John?
Tryelly such are humans.
