27/30, missed 3, but I have an advantage, I am a 75 year old man from Southern Ohio, country not city so I think that “gave me a Leg Up”. Now there’s one you didn’t have in your quiz!

Never heard of 4. Somehow, my brain put 'back' into it so I guessed 'wall.' And, I mixed up the idiom with a song. A million is daydreaming, a Thousand Miles Away by The Heartbeats (1956, I'm old) has another meaning altogether. They say that seniors' brains are 90% song lyrics and TV/movie lines! LOL Dick Van Dyke is 98 and he said, "I can't remember what I had for breakfast, but I remember all the lyrics to a song I liked when I was 15! Great!"
    Thank you

Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and nostalgic comment! It’s amazing how songs and lyrics can stay with us for a lifetime, even when other memories fade. Music truly has a way of embedding itself in our minds, and it's fascinating to see how it can influence our understanding of idioms too. Dick Van Dyke’s words are a perfect reminder of how our brains work in mysterious and wonderful ways. I’m glad you enjoyed the quiz, and I appreciate your insight!

@@joycekolbaba7713: Score by guess work will not help retain those idioms in your mind. You will have to go through them again and again so that these become part of your knowledge permanently.
