i miss him...i've been watching his movies all week. i watched Sleepers last night for the first time...WOW! im now gonna watch Tom and Huck :) that's the movie that made me fall in love with this beatutiful brown eyed angel! We love you Brad! And can't wait to meet you in Heaven someday!

Lol, I was obsesses with him in that movie as well. I remember begging my friend, who had pay per view, to persuade her parents to buy the film so that she could record it for me. I then spent endless hours watching it and re-winding his cutest moments over and over again!
When I heard about the sad news I remembered him as being one of my fave childhood crushes. Tom and Huck is his cutest film for sure but I love his intensity in Sleepers

For those of us who knew him personaly, he did care about his " bad reputation" Brad was very close to God and although he took " bad boy parts" in some movies, he did it as an artistic motive not a personal reflection. He was the kindest person you could meet!
That's a testament to his acting ability. The fact that he could play the bad boy so convincingly, when in real life he was the opposite. So many actors these days receive praise when essentially all they do is play themselves.
If you knew Brad .. I would love to know how and more about been a fan for so long

So many young actors I had crushes on died at a young age. Brad Renfro, River Phoenix, Jonathan Brandis, and that's just to name a few. It's a shame too because they were all super talented, especially Renfro and Phoenix.
Me too. All of them plus Corey Haim for me. It was heartbreaking because they went through a lot in Hollywood and then their legacies were purposedly buried by the people that caused it all... Never forgotten, forever loved :*
i was so ga ga over him in Tom and Huck. I loved that movie as a kid. It was the most exciting xmas present I can remember getting as a child..which is kind of wierd. but oh well.

I feel very sad hearing about Brad Renfro's passing. I thought he was a very good actor and I really enjoyed his debut performance in the Client. He had a bit of a street smart kid sensibility. It's a shame he got caught up with drugs and alcohol. He was a great kid who died way to young. Very very sad!

I just saw "The Informers" Brad Renfro last film that he finish right before he died 1/15/08. I was so sad to see him in his final role. He look terrible and unhappy.
