In this video I check out a newer batch and compare it to an older batch of Dior Sauvage edp.
There is a lot of talk about a reformulation of the Dior Sauvage line, which is why I think it's worth checking out

We need more videos like this i bought a 2024 bottle because it's a refillable bottle people always seem to say dior savages is beast mode but it's not it has average projection average longevity it smells good but nothing ground breaking I'd say some Versace Eros smells better and some of the Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances are better cheaper longer lasting

My new bottle from 2022 is just as strong as my older 2020 bottle👍

I have the EDP and yeah there are literally no differences. It’s just the same fragrance the edt unfortunately does have differences. But not to the point where I dislike it. It’s still a great performer. When I first got the edt, the new batch that I got a few months ago, it was very citrusy in the opening. But when I let it sit my closet for a bit and started to where it more, that peppery opening was more prominent. You just gotta let it mature a bit. On my skin, I get 3 hours or so of projection and 8-9 hours on the skin. So it’s still an amazing fragrance, just not the way it used to be

Appreciate the video. Has crazy as it might be never owned a sauvage. Got the EDP coming in.saw some talk about reformulations so I got worried. Happy to hear it's still good abd performes good. Might get the EDT next purchase if I enjoy the EDP since it came with a bottle to sample it.
I fully understand that you can get nervous when there has been so much talk about reformulation.
With the edp version, you are also sure of good performance from the start.
When/if you buy the edt version, use it a few times, don't worry, it will get stronger over time.

I will buy a new batch, should I buy edt or edp, especially for winter and 4 seasons
By the way, I'm torn between jpg le male elixir and jpg le male le parfum, but I tried the decant of elixir, which one do you think I should buy?
I would say something like this…
If you want the very freshest with the most bergamot/citrus, then it's edt.
Edt. is definitely the one that shines the most in the summer, and it can handle cooler days without any problems.
The edt. Just dont last as long as the edp.
The edp. version, on the other hand, has a slightly darker scent, and is definitely good for autumn and winter and early spring.
It can also be used in the summer, as it still has freshness in it, you just have to vary your sprays.
So for all year round, I would probably choose edp. as it also lasts longer on the skin.
With it, you are sure that it will last most of the day, without you having to think about spraying again during the day.
Love both elixir and the parfum of le male. But personally I would go with the elixir👍

If it is the edt. version, I will spray 5 sprays in the summer time. Because it is still an edt. and it evaporates a little faster in the summer.

In 2024, I would choose YSL Y edp.
I love both scents, but if I had to choose one it would be YSL edp.
Both scents are used a lot, but still think that YSL Y will stand out a bit more than Sauvage :)

Very informative! Does anyone have any idea about batch code 3F02 (mfg year 2023). I have the 200 ml bottle and used it only 1 time, 5 sprays. I bought it from Fragrance Shop UK. I can't smell it. No scent cloud. No projection. I've heard people say it's very strong and if one goes beyond 5 sprays, it can be headache inducing. Mine seems to be very weak. Any thoughts?

Also, I bought 2 more Dior fragrances from the same place at the same time. Dior Sauvage Elixir and Dior Homme Intense. Both are absolutely insane in terms of performance. So I think the seller is genuine.

Many have written about the edp version, and ask if it has been reformulated.
People often write about it, but what I am stating here is that there is absolutely no difference up to and including 2023.
Don't think any changes have been made yet either.
If there will be in the future, we will have to test again in a year's time or similar.
But for now, it is all good.
