Always pay attention to the quality of the paper. If it's not acid free, the paper will turn yellow, get brittle and start to disintegrate in several years. I wonder if Book Outlet's paper is acid free.
According to the publisher the bindings are glued and the paper is acid free
Use a hair dryer to remove the stickers without leaving a residue.

How are these books holding up now? How are the covers -- do they scratch easy? Do they tear easy? And also are the pages cream coloured or white? Thank you.
These are surprisingly very sturdy. They do not show any signs of wear and tear. The pages are an off white color.

The novel will disappoint you as the author was not so good in writing literature, so to speak.
As for Webber's musical. It's the best musical ever produced on stage.

The Phantom as a musical is a MASTERPIECE! I haven't read the novel but that is upsetting it isn't as good as the musical.
