It depicts clearly how thinking out of the box or lateral thinking can help one solve even very complicated problems. Some problems like this cannot be solved by simple logical thinking. We need to look for creative ways of solving such issues in life. Wisdom is the key.
The message of the story is to train your mind to make a decision after considering the given options as well as looking for options that are out of the options already present.
